The scriptwriter of this drama seemed to be very angry while writing this bcuz almost every character was dead. I feel like the ending was a bit rushed.? They didn’t even show ML & FL traveling together. And YL getting the promotion and ML getting his titles stripped? Huh. Again. why did u have to kill the ones closet to the ML and FLs??? U just like to give us pain don’t u? I’m not satisfied with the ending. But other than that, I like this drama, esp the ML, LY. I hope he gets more projects in the future.

Yes like u said they could have a happy and peaceful life if Qiu family case didn’t happen. But u know life. It likes to give us ups and downs and challenges. Only with those challenges, u realize your true capabilities and who your true companions are. And that’s what happened here too. We could say QX is a a dreamer and sentimental person . I hope he finds a girl who matched his temperament.

im gonna have to wait another 4 days wahhh. So far what i really like about this drama is that both the ML and FL are not saints. They are not perfect. They both have flaws like actual human beings. Sometimes we get used to the leads being all righteous and a saint-like heart esp FLs. I applaud the writer for introducing QY, the girl who isn't afraid to stand up for herself and her beloved ones, the one who puts men back in their place when they cross the line, the one who isn't afraid to question the elders and the traditions . She's a very strong character, she fights for her survival, but not to the point of forcing herself on a man who doesn't like her. *cough* QM *coughs* And LY. Being a head of an investigation office, he's naturally has many tricks up his sleeves .Never miss an opportunity to secure his power control. But when he falls for the FL, we can see that he will also go to extreme lengths to make her feel safe and happy. That's why those two are perfect for each other. A power couple indeed. Despite how QX claims he loves QY, he couldn't and didn't do anything to relieve her misery. He's a weak character here, all talk and no actions. And he had the audacity to say QY went to LY and not to him. Very whiny. Definitely not compatible with a strong character like QY.

No no I’m not saying he doesn’t have an expressive face. I meant in a way that his character is supposed to be cold n stoic at first. I also like him since in the beginning, mostly his voice. He sorta looks like Vengo Gao from the eternal love.

Ep 21 and 22 are so much fun to watch. LY has various expressions on his face than compared to his previous poker face. Haha. I agree with the emperor. I prefer this current LY. QY is having the time of her life by pretending to be mad at her "husband” . And QM.. girl u don’t force yourself on a guy who clearly doesn’t want u. He is helping u out of guilt. My anxiety level gets higher just by thinking what kinds of tricks she’s gonna pull in next episodes.

Well it sort of makes sense if that’s the case. But even Yuan Lang catches on pretty quick maybe bcuz he’s watching LY like a hawk hahah

Oh no QM! when your jie jie said u need to toughen up that’s not what she meant at all. I know u like QX but this is just wrong. Given that QX character is weak, i doubt he’d do anything even if he knew her intention. *signs* but i like the interaction between LY and QY. The jealous LY hahaha. The romance progress is slow but I’m not complaining. I’m a fan of slow burn romance. And from where QY is coming from, i can see why rebuilding her family is her top priority . U do u QY ! But although u’re smart, u’re kind of a bit dense in reading signals u should work on that xD

Yea u’re right. And l know they’re different. I’m just saying how the plot failed to pull me in. 2 main leads are just bound to get together cuz they’re main leads. Nth special in there. Feels like it’s forced to me somehow. I’ve watched a lot of romance dramas now and that kind of "forced by script” thing happens now and then so it’s understandable. Love Dilireba, such a shame I had to drop this on ep11. :,)

WHY IS THIS DRAMA NOT BLOWING UP YET?? I’m telling you this drama have the most healthiest, mature, adult relationship I’ve ever seen in Cdrama. No breakups, no evil family members and no scheming. The production team’s gone all out in shooting after-earthquake scenes. I’m a med student myself and i can tell u the medical related scenes are almost perfect. I love how the main leads CP look so natural and comfortable with each other. There are caring and teasing hand gestures and goofiness as couples which I’ve never seen in any drama before. It looks so realistic as how an actual couple should be. From the military camp , the hospital setting to the actings, everything looks so natural. Also, there are 3 separate OTPs, each with their own storyline. All in all, I love this drama very much.

I’m sorry to say this but It’s borrring :,(( Not my cup of tea at all. I’m on ep11 now and I think I’m gonna drop this as nth exciting is happening. I love Dilireba in TMOPB, the pillowbook , and YY in the king’s avatar but I just can’t seem to get into this drama. I, too ,enjoy playing games a lot however, the gaming parts in YAMG are just mediocre. Not as exciting as the king’s avatar. I get the hype as there are 2 A-list stars as the main leads but I feel like it’s such a waste of casts. I feel like they can do better than this. But different ppl have different tastes, so..

U could try You are my hero . They have the most healthiest type of relationship I’ve ever seen in Cdrama and also 3 separate OTPs

I DONT WANT THIS DRAMA TO END!! 24 ep is too short for this amazingly good Cdrama. I stumbled upon this fluff from a short video clip on Facebook. Who knew that later it makes me feel warm and fuzzy in my chest and butterflies in my stomach. I just can’t help but smiling like an idiot from the beginning of the drama to the end. But beware of the tears coming out of your eyes in some sad scenes. Definitely recommend to watch!

I created this acc just to write a review about this. HOLY SHIT!! I regret not watching it earlier. The plot, the acting, even the OST are awesome. I’ve watched this show twice now. I rewatched from the start as soon as I finished it to understand the storyline and twists better and to see if i missed anything . This is now my most fav costume Chinese drama beating Ten miles of peach blossom. Love and redemption will take u on a wild ride, make u feel all kinda of emotions. I was kind of skeptical at first cuz it has 59 eps. But boy, was I wrong. The show just keeps getting better and better with arcs and twists. (Other script writers and directors should take notes) U will kind of wanna shake FL sometimes but it’s okay she will get a better character development eventually. And Si Feng.. oh this ML will forever be engraved in my heart . He’s so gentle yet firm. Powerful yet forgiving. Other characters do their jobs well even the villains so u can’t help but appreciate their acting. I’m still mad they cut the “hottest” kiss scene in the entire drama after all Si Feng deserve it.
