Its a 9/10 for me.....and id say that rewatch is a must... i didn't absorb how plot twists were planted so i wanna give another risky rewatch (forgive me for i have sinned hahahha)coz after watching i kept asking my inner self ƪ(‾.‾“)┐ 1 Can i consider the king as a pedo/ groomer? ( I wanna be neutral for now coz the movie didn't show when did the King started to LOVE or got interested with Chief Hong ) but one thing is for sure...the King is very loyal to our Chief ...he wasn't into him because of lust but bcoz of love
2 Did Chief Hong loved the king even once? ( I have 2 answer for this ......NO coz maybe he was really groomed by the king or maybe he was well attached with the king so he mistaken famillial love for a romantic one ಠ_ಠ .....and YES coz if he really felt love for the queen then it should have started when he was still young or when the queen sings for the king ಠ_ಠ (no need for further explanation coz the movie vividly shows how he cares for the king ,skwkswkwk the most scenes i really liked is when he hugged the king when he felt that he was cheating and the last scene when he turned his head b4 he died)
There's a lot of question but gonna leave that for next rewatch hahahaha
I didn't finish this entirely cause the series gave me second male lead syndrome skwkskwkskwks and it's so painful to look at Wu Bosong being jealous so i dropped it HAHAHAH I remember me and my bestfriend fighting over whom Chen Xiao Xi deserves to end up with .... Im a Wu Bosong x Chen Xiao Xi back then but now looking back I'd rather be a Wu Bosong x Jiang Chen shipper ヘ(￣ω￣ヘ)... HAHAHAHHAHA i might rewatch this but in a 2x speed just to see the bromance moments ƪ(˘⌣˘)┐
During its premier me : smiles ear to ear,disregards the obviously negative things and such cause the chemistry is smooth But that was me during my very newbie days in this genre now looking back and deeply analyzing the series i would say that I overrated this drama....(◎_◎;)
From last year till this days i still don't know the title connection from the storyline hahahhaha ......first eps lacks on something but its bearable so i continued to watch but when the R18 + episode in a row caused me to drop the series.....
This series is very entertaining and uplifting romantic comedy. The rating in MDL is not justified based the series…
More likely viewers with STANDARDS knows that dramas with high POPULARITY doesn't deserve high RATINGS......one more thing pls do not drag other series to put ur fav under the spotlight.....
hahahaha so i started to watch this drama during the first month of quarantine .....ugh this drama lacks in something,...eg the acting skills, story and character development,......it's like a story made by a 9 yrs old wattpad author ( tine be like~~ someone likes me but i dont like them so I'll just chase that random heartthrob lurking in this school ╮(─▽─)╭ ) but the major thing that makes this a nah is the awkwardness of the actor/s ....it's way too obvious that it sips through my phone screen,skwkswks i remember myself cringing talking to my phone:come on boy film industry is not just about popularity and handsome face u need more emotions!!! ( just hoping that they weren't taking this community as a money cow(〜￣△￣)〜) But honestly first few eps were good and some jocular drama parts gave positive vibes ,.....
Woahh the cast line up is interesting.... mao zijun a superb and versatile actor ,liu yuhan good in showing emotions through facial expressions .....im not quite familiar with RainLu and Gala Zhang but their previews dramas has high rating so i think they have great acting skills.... Another thing is mao zijun and liu yuhan both acted in a bromance drama ....ƪ(˘⌣˘)┐
