No longer on Viki in the USA. At least I couldn't find it there.

I've finished this drama. The last episode was great, especially the final scene. A solid 8.5 for me.

I'm now on episode 29 and I am still enjoying this drama. The plot is interesting, straightforward, and believable. I feel bad for the FL because she is constantly getting into trouble, but that's what happens when you have powerful people working against you.

I can't believe only 68 people have watched and rated this drama. Such a small number for a very good production. If you're familiar with C-dramas, you'll recognize a lot of the supporting cast. They hail from dramas like Love like the Galaxy, Go Go Squid, and Blossoms in Adversity.

I'm on episode 9 and I really like this drama. The FL is righteous and capable, but relatable too, not just some Mary Sue. She makes mistakes and has to suffer consequences. The plot is interesting and I haven't been bored for a moment. The subs are good on YouTube.

If you enjoyed Story of Yanxi Palace or Jewel in the Palace, this might be a good drama for you.

Glad I watched it. A long journey, but worthwhile. I was never bored. It deals with the theme of loss. 8.5 out of 10, which is what I typically rate historicals with some merit.

Well I'm pleasantly surprised to discover this drama takes place during the same time period as The Qin Empire Season 2. Zhang yi is featured in both. I really enjoyed both The Qin Empire Season 1 and Season 2, so hopefully I'll enjoy this too. Song of Phoenix just takes place in the Chu empire the majority of the time.

Correct me if I'm wrong, btw.

Thus far I find the ML very likeable and the FL rather unlikeable. Hopefully she'll grow on me.

Oh my gosh. I actually liked this drama. I'm so sad no one else did. 😭

Oh well, I'm on to Heroes (2024) next and plenty of people liked that one. Its opening Douban score was 8.1.
