I unexpectedly enjoyed the whole drama, until... that last episode, that is. All that ending did for me was got me all confused about which twins was supposed to be which. Seriously.
Ok i'm watching this raw, so i don't really know what's going on conversation -wise. And i'm not well versed in these kinds of things, but the ML is what I think is a Sadomasochist. Most of the characters are not right in the head - that's my impression so far,,the males are closet sadists and brutes, and the FL seems to be fine with it. LOL cmiiw. This is the first short drama of this kind that I've seen so far that I feel is borderline disturbing, to be honest XD
I do not know in Korea, but here in Brazil, where we have a raça misture there are People with two diferent eye…
It's not about race or genetics here, because I checked that actor looks normal. Besides, you must mean actual different colors instead of the white on one side I'm referring to here. So they just purposely gave his character an aging brow on one side while the other is jet black XD To which I wondered why, haha. Also because you mentioned Bowie so I googled, and his isn't genetics either, but by accident, where his one eye got hit and he ended up with a permanently dilated pupil. All very interesting though. People with heterochromia look cool :)
I have this feeling that something isn't quite right about this drama. lol Some things are just kind of odd to…
Odd things I find while watching ep4:
1. Crying scenes involving the matter of separated lovers of the queen and head physician. I mean, First the queen's lady attendant bawlled her eyes out while listening to the couple's conversation from the outside, and I'm like, alright? is that even sad enough that she empathized so much to cry about? XD Second, again the younger prince's mother was also crying when the queen used her crocodile tears to confess to her affair in order to gain pity and incite her to poison the king. And again I'm like, I don't think this is that heart-wrenching enough to cry about XD Is it just me? 2. The characters and the things they do seem to forget here and there, that the crown prince has just been stabbed while he just normally goes about his business. 3. The younger prince goes back and forth between being immature and trustworthy. I can't tell what kind of character he is. 4. Same goes for the queen. This one is also inconsistent. She's evil enough to order to kill the crown prince, and yet goes on about how sad she is about the death of the other two people. Is this a new kind of mentally disturbed character? 5. Then that preview at end. Aren't things going too smoothly? The king gets poisoned off just like that , the queen becomes the all powerful ruler, and through nepotism grants her lover a high position so they can be together. But then again, I guess 30 years of longing can maybe do that. I don't know,,at this point the whole drama seems a bit fishy to me. LOL Right now I'm just staying for the expected romance XD
I have this feeling that something isn't quite right about this drama. lol Some things are just kind of odd to make it believable story-wise, and character motivation-wise. Also, what exactly is the purpose of having the younger prince's grandfather have 2 different colored eyebrows? XD That even possible irl?
The story is realistic and engaging and I am wondering what will happen at the end. I accidentally found this…
Haha, I feel you on the feeling old part . I also think this is a very thoughtful and realistic drama. Very rare I think, finding these kinds nowadays. I can only compare it to the subjects of movies. Although it being realistic is sometimes a deterrent, because I mainly watch to get away from reality. LOL So I only watch this when I feel like it.
I'm only here because of CYF, but this drama is lacking compared to his other drama Lucid Dream which is real good. The FL here is rather stonefaced and I'm not feeling any chemistry between them- things feels rather dry atm.
I noticed a very crucial blunder they made on the scenes involving the apartment units they were living in. So when you get out of the elevator the ML's unit is to the left of the elevator, while the FL's is right beside it, in front of the elevator or can be said to be to the right side of ML's.
Keeping this in mind, seeing the units from the outside balcony, the FL should be to the left, while ML to the right. Unless FL's unit is extremely large and theirs are the only ones accommodated by the elevator, and even goes behind it, their balcony scenes are reversed. Whenever those balcony scenes come up the FL is always on the balcony to the right while the ML is to the left.
Following the logic of their unit position from the elevator entrance, this makes no sense, no units magically crisscrosses like this.😂🤣 Anyway, just one thing that stuck with me the whole drama.
I was enjoying this up to ep 23. But then all the dumb decisions they were making in ep 24 and 25 just pissed me off that I stopped watching in the middle of 25. Now I'm taking a break from this.
Came to watch this after the legendary Legend of Shen Li, and I was like, Furong Jun? XD I didn't recognize him in the poster, and at first even thought he looked like MoFang with that hair. Then I was like, Shen Mu Yue? lols! Although I best remember the actress as Shang Zhi's Mom in Hidden Love. Can't move on from Shen Li. XD Btw I love the picture quality of the whole drama and the color tones they use for the whole cast's costumes - very pleasing to the eyes.
