I have just finished episode 3 and I am so angry because until the second ep the subs were ok. Now I think I am losing a lot because of this awful translation!! The other issue is that I can't stand the mean "You Yi Fan". Because of the foul subs, I don't know his position in the palace and why he has so much power and why he treats everyone in the Food Office so hideously. I don't know how much I will be able to endure... (¬､¬)

So it is really a 2 hour movie!! =)

I hope in this drama she will NOT be crying all through the episodes as in TGATYL. I really can't say if she's a good actress because half of the time she was crying. (¬_¬)

Of course not!! Parenting in other parts of the world is NOT like that. I have an 18 year old and I DON'T see nor treat her like a 5 yo!

I dropped on episode 15 because of the unsufferable amnesia trope. I came back on episode 32 because I thought the memories came back on full, but dear God, it wasn't like that at all. ⋋_⋌
So I dropped again and only came every weekend to the comments, to see how things were going on. To my surprise, things went south, sinking again and again and again. (¬_¬)
I guess I'll come back on episode 50 to see the rushed ending, like most of the ones kdramas present nowadays. (¬､¬)

I agree 100% with you. Actually, he is "expression-less" all the time. He needs acting lessons ASAP!!!

I like the three actors a lot!! My only wish is that the romantic couple (if there is romance whatsoever) is Oh Jung Se and Gong Hyo Jin. Otherwise, it will be a noona romance and I really hate those. :-{

I agree with your review because you put in words what was luring in my mind before I dropped it at episode 8. I couldn't go on watching so much tragedy and rejection. And it was going to get worse!!! TT

I just LOOOOVED your article. You have just a light and amusing way of writing, and also the ability to tell the stories about the dramas in a very uncomplicated way.
I have seen maybe half of the dramas you described, but for me the most sad and despairing one was Scarlet Heart Ryeo. I am not joking or exaggerating when I say that on the second half of the drama I used more than 4 or 5 tissues per episode. I think I haven't completely recovered from so much sorrow and despair. （◞‸◟）

My heart is crushing but I think I am going to pass this. First, it's a noona romance and I don't like those. Second, the ml is this guy who has zero acting abilities but he's supposed to be handsome. (I'm thinking maybe he has a chunk of Netflix shares or he is the son of a big guy there...)
Beautiful PMY is one of my favorite actresses, but it's not enough to endure the two reasons I addressed before. Oh, I'm so sad... (╯_╰)

She's a VERY overhyped actor, I guess she uses a very good PR agency to accomplish this. Her acting is sooo bad, she has the very same face for all the range of emotions she should portray. And she has done this in every drama I have seen of her (which I have always dropped, with the exception of DOTS). And also, I don't like her mania for working with actors younger than herself. Either she has a very big ego or she thinks she will look younger herself. For me, the outcome is just the opposite.

In the description of the drama, there is a section called Genres. There is the word "Fantasy". I think this explains why both personalities can meet and live at the same time. The answer is not psychology but fantasy. ʕ•ᴥ•ʔ

I concur 100% with you. For me the worst part was the FL with that dumb expression plastered in the face. No matter what, she had this same expression throughout the drama.
I loved Vaness and the little boy, but it was not enough.

I dropped this on ep 15, waiting for the st*pid amnesia trope to be over to return. 15 episodes more and the foolishness continues, as I see on the comments. Man, guess I'm gonna have to continue on hiatus. *sigh*

Thanks for all the effort and time you used to create this fun dating game!! It was so entertaining and informative at the same time. Now my TWL is quite a little bit longer... (°∀°)
