In episode 8 we got to see some of the qualities that would make Yi An a good king. When his wife fainted he immediately…
I hated the PM when he screamed in his royal and handsome face... He deserved a well place slap that would've turn him all around... but the regal and great prince Ian put in in his place with his countenance and ordered him as the server he is... Mmmh!!!
What do yall think about this?https://www.reddit.com/r/kdramas/comments/1t3467i/iu_hui_jus_cheaplooking_presson_nails_in_perfect/
Besides being such an insignificant "issue", why focusing on HuiJu only?? After I read several times this comment, I catch a scene where the queen's fake nails were the same!!! They BOTH use press-on nails all over the place!! You can see that sometimes they BOTH are wearing them and then sometimes they are not...
I've seen this comment over and over and over and over... Why bring focus on the nails?? Isn't it too much hate?? Ok, this is a comment section and you can post anything you want... So just a fact, the queen dowager's fake nails are the same...
The odious PM so prim and proper, he should keep his distance from HuiJu and start refering her as Her Royal Highness and not by her name... Also, he should stop calling to her cel that much... And HuiJu on her part, should stop calling him Oppa... (that word makes me cringe)... (⊙_◎)
The queen told him so, but he refused as the King (aw... baby) gave the couple his royal blessing... PM said cabinet and crown should be aligned... Maybe the queen might try to make the King backtrack (revoke) his previous blessing...
I am loving this story so so so much!! IU is nailing her character and WWW is doing quite well, too. Last episode about the King's Bday Ball was great, the entrance, the dancing and the Grand Prince's proposal got me swooning all over the place. ❤︎♛
The only thing that I didn't like that much was Hee Joo and the Queen's styling for the ball. It is supposed to be the event of the year, yet the Queen's dress was more like the dress for a wedding attendant than for the regal hostess of such an event. Don't get me wrong, the style and the color were great, but it was a tad simple for a Queen's attire. For me, the very big flop was in her hairstyle. As a widower and as the highest female of the royal family, she shouldn't had her hair loose in a great ball, least styled like a teenager. A beautiful up do would have been the right thing to do.
On the other hand, Hee Joo's dress was beautiful, almost like a bride's dress, but her hairdo was very very bad. It was such a simple style (teenager-ish, like the Queen's) and it was coming undone at the end of the dance with the PM. Again, for the event of the year she should've had the most beautiful hairstyle of all. It looked as if she styled herself for going to work.
Well, after ranting that much, I want to say that for me the best of all was the little and absolutely adorable King defying the evil queen and giving them his blessing!! Precious!! ◍•ᴗ•◍
Kinda tired how bland male leads are compared to old Kdrama like no depth, barley flaws, no growth, no humor,…
You're right!! I can't understand why the Prince doesn't talk back to the DQ when she accuses him of killing the King!! She's done it several times and he only stays mum...
"... for any mature drama watcher — age aside — this show lacks depth." NO, this show lacks depth ONLY TO YOU... I am a "mature drama watcher" and I LOVED this drama... I have many friends who are also "mature drama watchers" and they also LOVED this drama... My advise, you should never generalize, you should state your own opinion...
one thing about IU is she always gonna pick a good drama
And she's a superb actor!! I remember her acting in WLGYT, a drama so different than PC, and in both cases she nailed to the roof. Those toxic haters who say otherwise should have a life...
If you like Park Bo Young and Ahn Hyo Seop that much (as I do), you should give this at least a 6. If people see your score without reading your evaluation, they would think poorly of the actors too... It's like degrading them too much...
Rewatched ep 4, only now I find that Prime Minister Min third wheeling the royal couple date is kinda annoying…
You're so right!! I liked prime minister at the beginning but now I think he's pure evil... All the country knows Hui Ju and the Prince are an item, and he's brazenly pushing between them... He's shameless!!
