Yes , those who are watching it recently, are really loving this drama. Li Zan unlocked a new layer of CZYs acting potential. I really liked Li Zan & Song Ran's portrayal by Chen Zheyuan & Liang Jie. They brought the characters to life. It's a good drama & I wish the story can reach many people.

This drama was led astray by negative marketing & was boycotted by many people due to the novel being plagiarized. Moreover, IQIYI released it during Chinese New Year, and people don't tend to watch heartbreaking dramas at such occasions. I personally don't feel that the technical glitches in the production & screenwriting was that bad. Recently, a drama which was so poorly edited that they didn't even edit out the electric ropes used & script being held by the actor , it managed to break 8500 heat index. There's another historical drama that broke 10k heat index & got accused of buying data. Majority of those who watched TWOT without prejudice , found it actually very good. Later on they feel why is this drama so underrated . It's a pity. I really feel bad for the hardwork that actors put in got overshadowed by the negativity and malice that was spread .

The billing order during cast announcement was a total mess. This leaves fans with the hope & things turn out to be different. I'm not against anyone. But this is how it is. Sometimes, the screentime doesn't even matter. There are some examples where actors appeared as a guest star or in support role , but they left a solid impression on the viewers by their performances. Let's just hope that this drama turns out to be super good and everyone can succeed. And for the plot of this drama, things are unclear . The team is also strict about leaking the storyline as said by some C-netizens.

Don't get me wrong , but this is a Male lead drama. In such dramas, male lead has the maximum screentime. There will be more focus on his journey in bringing transformation in e-commerce world. Other roles are also important and they will have their contributions in the journey of Lu Yun Xiang , but their own stories wont be elaborated much. This is why Tencent announced this as a Male lead drama.

They both eloped after getting married. The last scene shows their souls looking at the olive tree they planted together and then vanishing. The last scene is probably after a time-span of many years. Now this elopement is upto the viewers how they perceive it. One can think that they left together to the countryside, away from everyone to live their life peacefully and heal each other as they already faced the utmost harshness of the world. And might have died later on as death is inevitable part of life. They loved each other during the time they were alive & faced life and death together. This is the most decent way of thinking it as not a sad ending.

Its an open ending. Not happy nor sad either. Everyone has different perspectives. It is close to the novel's ending, not that harsh yet heartwrenching. Read the next comment only if you want spoiler for the last scene .
