Same...but lets be positive in many ways. The drama airs at 11PM in Korea which is not ideal for romance kdrama…
aa so that's why... i've seen a lot of dramas tho that didn't do well on korean ratings but was successful internationally, so tho ratings is important, it isn't the only standard of success

I'm really loving the progress of this drama so far. I honestly started this with low expectations because of all the negative reviews, but every episode i watch makes me think that its not as bad as what i have expected! its not as bad as the reviews says it to be.

The plot is cliche and predictable but there's something in their lines/script that seems wise and clever to me so it gets my interest going, its not boring for me cuz i feel like im also learning along the way with these characters.
The characters are frustrating and i find some of their actions to be stupid but its not like its unreal? i mean we also make dumb decisions in our daily life so for me it still makes sense why are they like this, why they did that.
It's more angsty than fluffy for a so-called romcom (i think this is where they really fucked this story up, by promoting it as romcom when its more like melodrama) but i think its just appropriate for the storyline, i mean its all about unrequited love anyway, at least they're not trying hard to make it look like a romcom by making things look funny when they aren't, but it has some romcom scenes too.
As for the latest episode (10), i love the pace and the character development of the main leads! the side story of their friends are picking up nice too.

We all have different preferences so i hope people dont get swayed by the negative comments before giving this drama a try first :)

Ok first im glad cuz in the beginning you all hate lee soo for being jerk and praise the ceo so much, but for me junsu has been giving a creepy vibes since the very beginning, he's a simp, if you think the writer is just making him look bad now welp, he's been not so good from the very beginning, you just missed the hints. while lee soo who has been true to his flawed self from the very beginning got a lot of hate haha!

The comments make me not want to watch the show more and more....
i started this drama with low expectations because of the negative reviews but after i watched i actually thought "oh its not as bad as how i expected it to be tho?", i actually enjoyed all the episodes, despite the frustrating happenings, i laughed and got angry at the same time in each episode haha

is this worth watching? The reviews are too negative and I am wondering whether I should spend time on this one?

To those who are interested to watch this drama, but is hesitating to do so because of the comments, I suggest…
omg i agree with everything you said. when i watched this drama my expectations were already low because of all the bad reviews ive read, but when i was watching it i actually enjoyed it??? the plot is cliche but there's something with their lines that still makes the story interesting. the characters are messed up and their decisions sometimes seems dumb but i also thought dont people also make dumb decisions in real life? haha. there's more angst than the romcom but i think its just appropriate, at least they're not making scenes try to look funny when its not. the real fault here i think is that they labeled it as romcom when its more like melodrama so people's expectations wasn't met.

I just finished til episode 6 and i prepared for the worst because of all the negative reviews i saw after the latest episode but surprisingly still, i enjoyed watching it overall! I watched it and i thought it wasn't as bad as the reviews sounds.

The ML is not that bad too as everyone is painting him to be. He has a lot of flaws but they are not without reason.
He's selfish and self-centered but its because he grew up feeling like "no one cares for me so i need to care for myself". His narcissism for me is actually funny instead of annoying. HAHA! And i never saw him leading FL on for him to be hated so much, he may seem too sweet and caring for just a friend but i have guy friends like that too, so believe me, boy friends like that do exist, doesn't mean you need to date them, but FL hoped for that and was rejected with respect. He may look like a jerk but that's not all that he is, he's got a genuine and tender side too.

As for the FL, she's adorable but the constant tripping/falling is kinda making her look lame, but i hope she develops a reasonably strong character in the future.
The SML is also impressive and honest but the problematic thing i found in him is that he's too straightforward, like he didn't even let a day pass after signing a contract with FL and goes to openly hit on her, but i also get that he have a past bad experience about stalling so he wants to be fast this time, but he just hired FL wtf, just a bit of professionalism is what i was looking for i guess. He's nice and deserves better than the FL actually because i don't want him to be just a rebound.
I actually don't care that much with who ends up with who but what's most important is their growth, cuz all of them obviously got problematic sides.

As for the side characters, i love that they also have their own conflicts and story to tell, and i hope that this drama can wrap it all up nicely in the end, and not just toss them aside when things get intense with the main leads.

The script! i really love their lines! it carries some sense, humor, and depth that even if the plot is cliche, it doesn't seem boring to me, there are a lot of on-point real life lesson.
I love it so far and will probably stick until the end <3
SO IF YOU'RE HESITATING TO WATCH IT BECAUSE OF THE REVIEWS, GIVE IT A TRY FIRST AND SEE FOR YOURSELF!
