this is my favorite manga of all time and I have to say, they did a great job with this adaptation. i especially love the OST and the casting. some of the actors are SO convincing as these characters. my one complaint is, it’s not nearly as funny as the manga but i understand that they couldn’t make it too over the top for a blockbuster movie. very excited for the drama series
i finally watched this and it was so cute!! i like kyohei and nanidan so i watched it for that reason but the FL was so cute and funny. also idk why they kept calling her character ugly, that part was unbelievable, she's super pretty.
i finally finished this show and i loved it so much! the last 2 episodes were a bit meh to me but overall i liked it. ayaka is a really strong character so i enjoyed watching her be cute and funny :) kamiyama and togo's mother i still don't forgive though lmao
here i was silly me thinking that the girl would realize that the guys have an obvious relationship and tension happening and she would back off but no! she DOES realize and then says she's not gonna back off and keeps trying to date him. can the writers of this show stop making this complicated for like 5 seconds
happy (belated) birthday yutaro!! i'm so happy to watch him grow as an actor and i have so much love and respect for him for taking multiple lgbt+ roles with enthusiasm. he's always grateful for any opportunities and interacts kindly with fans on social media. just in general, he's really impressed me. happy 25th birthday!
the girl confessing at the end.. imagine how tired we are. this whole episode was just miscommunications and ALL of the characters being annoying and honestly making bad judgments. (except for ryu-san, we love him) i dislike that mahiro automatically assumes that souta is not capable of liking him romantically because he is assumed to be straight. i understand that he's scared of getting hurt but assuming that about someone is hurtful to them too, especially when souta made it clear that he enjoys being with mahiro. and souta is a dumbass for running all the way to the store and seeing mahiro and ryu hugging and thinking he moved on and is romantic with ryu now??!?! wtf?? that's so insulting and if you really liked someone and trusted them you wouldn't assume the worst about them and then run away. i can see why this is 12 episodes and not 10 cause they keep making up stupid things to put in it. (but anyways i actually still enjoy this show even though this episode gave me a headache LOL, let's hope the next episode improves)
i've had this on my list for awhile and I finally just finished it!! siwan's acting was so good, i loved when he did that frowning thing it reminded me of the movie midsommar. in my opinion, this isn't that gory due to the censoring. my one complaint is, i wish there was more backstory on the orphanage and moonjo being adopted by boksoon, etc. i was waiting for them to further elaborate on that but it never happened. i guess there were more focused on the murdering/fight scenes. (also stop putting this on your bl lists guys LMAO)
I’m so happy I’m finally caught up with this series. I love it and I’m really enjoying each episode. I love Ayaka so much, she doesn’t let people push her around and she’s genuinely a sweet person. And I love the dynamic that her family has, I always want to see more of them. (and her actress is so cute too 😋) The only thing that I’m annoyed with is of course kamiyama.. how are you gonna say you still sincerely want to be with ayaka but yet you’re accepting money from her husband’s mother to sabotage their relationship 🙄 and she’s just supposed to be fine with that if she finds out?
I watched this initially because I like Ohashi Kazuya (which btw I thought he was so hilarious and cute in this, it was great casting) but now I ended up liking Yamada Ryosuke too and I’m planning on watching other dramas with him in it lol!
as for the storyline, I found the show entertaining and funny but some parts of the couple’s romance seemed lack luster to me. also, something that bothered me was the fact that maruya was obsessed with not being cute anymore and thinking that no one would like him if he isn’t attractive. I was waiting for him to have some character development and realize that looks aren’t everything but he like barely did and never outwordly acknowledged that. as for the FL, I can’t be too annoyed by her actions cause her inability to get along with others is relatable to me lmao but she was way too blunt about stuff.
