I can't believe I'm actually saying this but MMH's drama adoptation managed to surpass the webtoon - particularly…
Same for me! Literally loved the drama including all the little changes it made. They made it seem more real and emotional and added depth and created a much more satisfying conclusion imo. Poetic how mc’s toxic exs ended up dying in the ways they intended the to kill the mc in the previous life. And Su-Min was the real and biggest villain. To those who think yu ra was the big villain, no she was just a side character that was required to conclude the blind spots of mc’s past relationships by tying all the three toxic people in mc’s lives together. Min-hwan and Su-min couple needed a third person to become the cheating partner, for their fates to come full circle and to them come to face the karma of their toxic decisions.
main thing i liked about last episode was they gave us plenty happy moments 😭🥳 it was not rushed
I know rightttttt!! Like after watching 16eps, us viewers are bound to get deeply attached to the MC but most dramas just end the final episode with only few minutes (if at all) of good moments of MC’s relationship. I mean I’m not just here for the story, I also desperately need more of my main couple’s happy moments!!!
Hui yeon's confession was out of the blue. It doesn’t even make sense. She was like a different person in this…
I don’t think so, her whole personality was built around her openness and confidence to speak whatever’s on her mind and be cute when she’s doing that all the while being true to her feelings, so if you see that, her confession was on brand for her, was even more heartfelt as she was a bit shy too, so more like confessing her heart than just speaking what’s on her mind
This theory, yes, this makes SO much sense to me too! Like min-hwan soo-min needed a catalyst for cheating and…
P.s. the only episode I didn’t watch same day was ep12, bcz i felt the story would need a bit more screen time to makr sense of yura’s presence and I didn’t want to feel angry or hurt unnecessarily, which would be inevitable as every episode of this drama has made me feel strong feelings always. And after watching ep 14 I am so happy i waited to binge those three eps. And NOT unnecessarily judge this drama negatively because i was not able to predict where it was going with that new inclusion.
I highly recommend watchers to watch it with slight detachment from its namesake webtoon. The drama has a more real-feel to it than the webtoon. With inclusion of beautifully and realistically portrayed traumas and fears and character growths and core natures of people and the sad realities of life. Webtoon in that sense was much too breezy and maybe that’s why watching the mains struggle with their inner feelings at times could be frustrating for webtoon lovers. P.p.s I too have read the whole webtoon and i am thoroughly impressed by the drama’s adaptation of it as well.
I also used to be annoyed as majority of this comment section when they introduced a new evil character out of…
This theory, yes, this makes SO much sense to me too! Like min-hwan soo-min needed a catalyst for cheating and doubts and all that hate and just getting married was never going to cut it. With a new “villain”, it can be made possible rather than putting ji-won in the role of the third woman. Also the male lead needed something to happen to make him snap out of his perpetual fear that he will “definitely die in a car crash” so “let’s love her till I can” aka sappy love. And the female lead needed something to realise the depth of her love and their understanding was real and not that her love happened just because her father sent him as a “gift” or because he time traveled like her so could understand her. And mainly like rid them from the fear of dying like they did in past, and getting closure. And there wasn’t any existing storyline to make that happen, nor any existing character to facilitate that, therefore Yu ra, albeit a cliche, was used quite tactfully here IMO. Also, the episodes moved really fast and covered a lot of side stories along with MC’s story so if you see it in that sense, she wasn’t treated as the “main villain” but more like plot driving force/catslyst, bringing the fears and true nature of all the other main and side characters to the front finally and properly.
The main problem with the second part is that it’s still focusing on romance. Naksu was supposed to be badass,…
She was supposed to become the avenger not some damsel in distress. The show really did dirty to their main female characters, first called them super powerful then making them act all defenceless and silly and weak.
while the first part was fantastic, the sequel is pretty much meh.Nothing except for the continuation of love triangle…
The main problem with the second part is that it’s still focusing on romance. Naksu was supposed to be badass, she was supposed to raise hell and make those who wronged her and even misused real weaker jin buyeon suffer for messing with wrong women. But it became a 6 episode montage to more silliness and dragged romance plots.
It’s been a while since the last episode aired and the confirmation of the news that Jung So Min was replaced as ML came out BUT DAMNNNN it still stings and I’m still so bummed about it that I can’t even listen to AoS OST without hurting so bad!!!!! In my head and heart Modoek will always be JangUk’s love, aka Jung So Min’s face and acting and persona and storyline. 🥹🥹🥹💕💕💕🥲🥲🥲
