no, not really. It is more of a slow burn with the gumiho itself, they might treat it differently here coz they need to quicken the pace. But overall, you will really root for the main couple

I have read this manhwa and it is just soo hilarious. I expected romance but fell for the comedy. I hope the show would also have the same elements. I would love to see JKY not be in a tortured painful role for 90% of the series as in most of his other roles while showcasing that swoon-worthy mystic, ancient eternal being quality which is the staple of kdrama fantasies. Another gumiho that I'm ready to fall in love with :)

You know,it's a very weird feeling..I have watched some 150+ dramas till date and often times when I'm in a kdrama slump/burnout I would go watch other stuff on Netflix etc. But that phenomenon usually occured when I just had my fill of kdramas for a while. Nowadays I find myself having this strong urge to watch a good kdrama and get all the feels and I go hunting for dramas. I start a drama, rage watch it for a while and then push it back in my bookmark list to revisit some day when I feel like it but I can't seem to stick with any drama . Why ? Why do I not feel the thrill and excitement. Every new drama I wouod look forward to like I'm ready to fall in love again and each time I would be like "this is not it" and run away. The last drama I truly enjoyed was the fiery priest which I watched in April this year. I'm unhappy to report that Kdramas have lost their charm :(

Let's wait and see if xabara from arthdal chronicles make it in part 2 of this list.. she is rather promising :D
