This is a good drama with leads who actually make sense and it's something I truly appreciate. The chemistry is solid, and the character motivations are believable. However, the pacing is painfully slow. The story feels like it's going in circles at times. I understand that it's a journey-centered narrative about a coroner, so naturally, there are going to be multiple cases to solve. But the sheer number of side cases, without any real movement in the main plot, becomes frustrating.
We're told there's a deeper mystery involving her family's execution, yet the drama barely touches it. No real clues, no significant developments, just case after case. I kept waiting for the main arc to unfold, but it feels like it's constantly being delayed.
There are also quite a few unnecessary scenes that could’ve been trimmed to tighten the storytelling. Still, despite all that, I find myself rooting for the characters and enjoying their dynamic. So yes, it’s a great drama in many ways, I just wish the plot would finally move forward.
I don't really like watching dramas where the main character is male. But surprisingly, this one proved me wrong, it made me realize I've been missing out on some great dramas. Xiao Zhan really did a great job. Mind you, this was the first drama of his that I’ve watched, and all I can say is that he truly left an impression on me. His acting is just so satisfying. He must be a sorcerer because he bewitched me! Lmfao.
Not to mention, throughout the entire drama, there weren’t any rushed moments. They really took their time. The plot made sense, the flow of the story was well written, and the whole drama was IMMACULATE.
Three words for this series: AN ABSOLUTE MASTERPIECE.

at first i find it really boring because it's too slow but as i've watched the whole episodes, i realized that it was exactly the point of the drama—to slow down. it's very comforting and healing. makes me wanna do vlogs to record my healing.

so many hate comments but understandable! there's really cringe parts of this and they just keep overexagerating things. but i also get the hype because it's kinda nostalgic for filipinos because this is the type of stories in wattpad that was really popular back then. it's a pretty decent drama knowing how filipino entertainments are doing adaptations. but i agree, the whole plot is crazy and overexagerated. i just hope they will adapt more wattpad stories beyond romance genre because there are many good stories in wattpad nowadays.

it's normal to speak english here. we've learned english since grade one (elementary) and upto college where there's no any courses/subject that isn't using english. so basically we speak our languages but cannot speak straight filipino without using some english words.
