Love love this drama so much. It is my first time watching a drama where I literally cried in every episode. The actors and actresses played their roles excellently. I am just baffled why some people here did not like the adult Yeon Woo, she is beautiful in her own way, and her every expression makes me teary-eyed. I think if they have chosen a very pretty face then I do not think I would get carried away in every dramatic scene I see her. I totally agree though that the young Yeon Woo is perfect and none can surpass her, she is by far my favorite! I am happy they gave longer childhood exposures so I get to see her more! Overall, this drama is such a legend! Gave it 9.5/10, reason why it is not a perfect 10 is that the ending was just too happy which I find unrealistic. Princess Min Hwa in my opinion, should not get a happy ending, she caused so much pain to the family which led to the death of their father. Yes, she was innocent back then but when she became an adult she mentioned that if she was to go back in time, she would do the same thing all over again.
I rarely watch Korean historical drama because I am more fan of Chinese historical dramas. However, this drama caught my attention when I saw this among the top 10 popular watch in Netflix. I got curious and started with episode 1 and got hooked right away and finished all episodes in 1 sitting. Love the Queen and the Grand Princes, each prince is unique in their own and lovable. There was never a boring episode and in fact, there is always suspense and will keep you watching for more.
I felt so heartbroken that Lin Shu died in the end.💔 I wanted for him to live on, be healthy and happy with Ni Huang.
Love Fei Lu so much, he is so adorable and I can't believe he has grown into a handsome young man in the Long Ballad! Overall this is such a masterpiece and great selection of actors and actress!
Such a heartwarming drama to watch! Love Chu Li so much! She is so adorable and I was hoping to see her in a wedding dress! Too bad we didn't get to see a wedding in the finale. The proposals are cute though~
