I think because with unhappy endings it makes people hardly move on. The drama would stay in their mind and it becomes unforgettable. So I think they’re still about business. :(
This drama is keeping me on my toes! You always look forward to every episode. Personally for me the ending does not matter so much, the important is the journey!
They should have ended the drama in the episode where Anle was able to bring back the souls of the 80K soldiers. The rest of the episodes are no longer necessary.
I have watched Penthouse before this drama so my expectations are quite high. However comparing the two, I don't feel so much thrill and excitement in this drama. I like the setting and dresses though. He Soo is so elegant and classy~
I have high expectation for this drama and thought the female lead would be a cool family butler and while living in the mansion, these 4 handsome guys would fall for her. The first few episodes are really interesting, I even thought FL will be good with martial arts or something. However as the story progresses, it was becoming more disappointing. There are a lot of SFL scenes which these 2 guys were actually inlove w/ sfl. For awhile I was a bit happy with the 3rd kang cousin who is starting to fall for FL but got disappointed that he was never able to directly expressed his feelings for FL. I think this could have been better as there were great actors and actresses but the writing definitely is so bad.
I was looking for another drama to watch after finishing the moon embracing the sun which is a very heavy and emotional drama. Bumped into this drama the Crowned Clown and it is so refreshing and the story is unique for me. Hands up to the main lead for excellently portraying dual personalities. I also love the chemistry between the Queen! If not for the ending, this drama could have been perfect. I have seen a lot of Chinese dramas that did not have a happy ending but those endings were justified and meaningul. But for this drama, I am so surprised as I just think the ending is senseless and boring, they could have added a plot twist like for example Ha Seon can actually be the missing twin of the real King so that would make him a royal blood and stay in the throne working til his death.
Overall with the plot my rating is 8. :)
