In my opinion, this drama started out very slow and boring for the first few eps so I was going to binge it. It was considered a so-so drama to me. Later on, I wanted to drop it as well but then I gave it another chance and rewatched the eps that I binged. I fell in love with this drama and I'm glad that I have it another chance. This one definitely made it on my favorite list. I really love their acting, the plot, the clothes, romance, everything! Fun Fact: Song Yun (Seven) said that they spent most of their budget on Lu Yi's clothes

I'm doubting if it's them actually kissing because they always show either their eyes or their mouth, never both in a scene. If it's both, they're angled in a "suspicious" position like the one in ep 33. I also know about how China banned a lot of things so maybe this is also the reason? It could also just be me...

I never got the chance to watch White Snake but I did watch Glory of the Tang Dynasty. I decided to start this drama bc I knew both of the main leads and I thought the trailer was quite interesting. I thought the first few eps were kinda boring but then it got more interesting. I'm glad I didn't drop this either!

At the same time, it kinda also makes sense since he comes back after treatment from Japan and meets An Le. They see each other and the end. However, they definitely could've added more to it like his competition and all that good stuff
