In my opinion, this drama started out very slow and boring for the first few eps so I was going to binge it. It was considered a so-so drama to me. Later on, I wanted to drop it as well but then I gave it another chance and rewatched the eps that I binged. I fell in love with this drama and I'm glad that I have it another chance. This one definitely made it on my favorite list. I really love their acting, the plot, the clothes, romance, everything! Fun Fact: Song Yun (Seven) said that they spent most of their budget on Lu Yi's clothes

I never got the chance to watch White Snake but I did watch Glory of the Tang Dynasty. I decided to start this drama bc I knew both of the main leads and I thought the trailer was quite interesting. I thought the first few eps were kinda boring but then it got more interesting. I'm glad I didn't drop this either!
