First is to learn to differentiate between fiction and reality. Obviously everything that happens in a fictional drama doesn't happen in real life, that would be stupid thinking. There's nothing wrong with liking "toxic" characters, just like there's nothing wrong with liking villains, because it's FICTION. Also people are praising the actor for his "toxic" character because he performed it so well.
