Watched this because of Wang Yang. Gosh... I am a woman but a wife like this I would have left after 5 minutes! It seems she cannot treat her private life without being an investigator, and yeah, I have been an investigator too at times in relationships, but this is madhouse stuff. Yes, she has a point in being suspicious and he did not explain why he booked those rooms, but I think her approach had the opposite effect. She was paranoid and manipulative a lot more than he was. What a great drama! One of the best I have recently seen! Brilliant Tan Zhuo (the hateful Gao gui fe in Yanxi Palace) and Gao Ye (the wife of gangster Gao Qi Qiang in the Knockout); great acting, great story.. i just wished a slightly different ending for Jiang Yidi and Yu Shi.. I hope in a season 2..
One of the worst dramas i have watched! Feng Xiaoqin and Zhang Xian are the only redeemable characters, and they play quite well. But Gu Qingyu and Shi Yuan are quite frankly detestable. She is a spoilt, mean, busybody always injecting discord in the family, who think she is untouchable because she is rich and successful. He is an insecure, ridden with self pity who keeps lying and lying to his wife, and then plays the victim again! She loses her job, after 20 years of being successful because he stole her project behind her back, and still she cares about him! The whole Gu family is quite detestable, snobbish and mean. But the other families are not much better. I am at episode 30, waiting for the last few episodes,..
