I think that the reason for these connections lies not only in memorable roles, but also in names/nicknames that are easy to remember.
I wonder why he can't mix blood or saliva with humans. Maybe it's his kryptonite, which could temporarily or permanently remove his superpowers. It would be a good way to avoid some plot holes because currently his abilities can solve almost any problem. I just hope that it's not lethal because I really don't want a drama without kissing or with a kiss followed by death (I would call it "the dementor's kiss" ;)).
My wild theory is that at least three people are doppelgangers: Song Yi, her wannabe fiance and his creepy brother. In Joseon, the first guy was her mysteriously deceased husband and the second one the assassin who attempted to kill her (and I bet he had succeeded with her hubby). And I guess the history is destined to repeat itself.
If I'm right, then this drama is a fusion of Queen In-hyun’s Man and Rooftop Prince. ;)
I'm probably in the minority but to be honest I like Ma Te. I find his narcissism quite hilarious. I think his character is more complex than David's (who is a bit boring in my opinion) and I'm looking forward to his future development. And it's funny because I didn't like JGS before this drama. I couldn't stand him in You're Beautiful.
I don't like that Kwak Dong Yun is the only one who doesn't play the older version of himself. I know that he's only 16 and it would be a bit hard to believe that his character is in his twenties, but I like him a lot better than Baek Sung Hyun.
I have a feeling that this drama will end with Kim Do Han and Cha Yoon Seo being a couple ("Si On has changed our lives, so now we can finally be together"). I hope that I'm wrong and the writers will show us that an autistic person can have a normal happy relationship.
I'm a bit disappointed. Visually it looks really nice but the charaters... Why, oh why a male lead in almost every drama must be such a jerk? And this one looks like a major one. And the female lead acts like a cute dimwit (of course!). Plus the relatioship between those two is a copy of one from My Girlfriend is a Gumiho: she obsessively follows him, while he avoids her and/or violently pushes her away. I know that in time the situation will change but I still don't like it. The lesson you learn from that kind of dramas: if a man treats you like a sh*t, just put up with it - in the end he will fall in love with you! Yay. -_-'
