I dont think he let them do it with AI thing. Recently he even had this law suit against some of this ai amounts that used his face. I think they are not going to complete filmong and mabey release it as first season to test waters and then start filming for other parts of story? It is just my delusional thinking

Well it is not just about dior, He is Shanghay diamond globall ambassador. This is bigger than any other fashion icons. They know he is money maker for them and I hope they didn't edit out his scenes in drama or something lke LYF2.

It's funny how they are marketing DW this much. Like I watched a lot of cdramas but in none of them they paid this much attention to SML with limited screen time🤭

I understand concerns and even disappointment cus of your fave anime series. I'm still cursing screen writers of fox spirit matchmaker's trilogy. They deleted 95% of story and made something really average by it. But we can say that for this drama for sure if we still didn't watched it. Lets see what they did with story. The most important thing about the original work was FL's character. As others said she was ahead of her time and when I watched anime for first time, I never thought her story and character is old to tell or she is like old stories Fls, idiot, dense or someone who is just after a man. If they kept her strong mindset, the other changes are not that important I think.

So, Let's wait and see...

I think it is better to try is yourself. Watch first eps, if it wasn't good as you want or imagined drop it. I read screen writing for SML character and his upgrade worth everything.

Yes they changed SML and 3ML's place . Sakujun is now SML and The SML in the novel is played by riley wang as 3ML and he have his own love line. The screen writer find Sakujun more interesting and decided to upgrade his role in story with more plot and impact. So... I think it is better to watch it separately from original work.

We should wait to see what kind of romance and dynamic they will give us in drama but I think a lot of people are going to fall for SML... You know... Bad boy...

TJR is support role here. He is genius working in palace's library and doing exactly nothing XD He is king's teacher but what should he do when king don't do anything useful? He is bored to death and he have bad sense of direction that get lost really easy even in his own home. He is just cutie potato. He, ML and Hong shin's character are my favorite chaos trio. HS character is general who loves to tease Ruy's character so much.

Yes in novel and from footage he will die in ep 35...

The thing is here FL really have feeling for SML. in novel when she and ML broke their concubine relationship she met SML and she slowly started to like him. First she find him kinda like ML but then she found out she likes him in different things too. But regretted after finding about his hidden self. when SML died she cried like crazy and even dreamed about saving him.
This dream thing might be in drama but I don't know what they did to other parts cus here SML start showing up from ep2 and have more impact of story...

That's why it is heavy one...
