I like both JSM and GYJ. I hope they will be in S2 too. But love triangle between Naksu, Uk, and BY doesn't seem to fit very well. Naksu and Uk have more similar characters. They are both rebellious type. They can make good pair. BY is good girl type. I am not sure Uk will fall in love with BY. But anyway, let's see.

My thinking about Bu Yeon: 1. She is a priestess who is anti dark sorcery. She against AoS performing. Whenever there is dark sorcery happening around her, she will stand at the morally good side. Facts to support this: - She agreed Jin Mu to find the ice stone, but her purpose was to destroy the ice stone when she was on the boat with Jin Mu to avoid it being misused. - She protected the girl whom Naksu chose to shift soul with, by trapping Naksu's soul in her body. - She protected Uk from Gil Ju's AoS. - She informed Naksu they were in the ice stone (the wind barrier), and she warned Naksu not to be overconfidence and gave Naksu advices about the character of the ice stone.
2. There is no enough fact to support the first blind Jin priestess reincarnation theory yet, so I don't take this theory seriously. We don't know whether the first blind Jin priestess was in love with the first Master Seo. Master Seo did love her, but did she love Master Seo back? Without enough fact to support the reincarnation theory, I don't think Bu Yeon is going to fall in love with the person born with the King's star. She may protect him because it is the right thing to do.
3. She didn't remember Mama Jin and her home because she lost memory when she fell from the boat. She just remembers again recently when Mama Jin choke her. But although she didn't remember Mama Jin and her home earlier, whether being Mudeok or being Bu Yeon, her character has always been the same good, kind, and anti dark sorcery girl.
4. As an anti dark sorcery priestess, we may see her try to destroy the ice stone again in the future, which may cost her her life. Or she may try to use the ice stone again to an extreme point in order to save somebody (Naksu? Uk?), and this will cost her her life.

Buyeon used the ice stone with Buyeon's power. Naksu will use the ice stone with Naksu's own power. So far they don't share powers. We don"t know if they will merge their powers in the future. But so far they do not.

I think it is not hard for Jang Gang to defeat Shaman Choi, and for Park Jin to defeat Jin Mu unless the 2 villains set up some dirty tricks. I am not sure if Jang Gang has reached Hwansu, but Park Jin, Shaman Choi, and Jin Mu do not seem to have reached Hwansu. When Park Jin fought Naksu, he used sword and arrows. If he has reached Hwansu, he probably did not need sword and arrows anymore, just like Master Lee.
Between Jang Uk and Naksu, I think Jang Uk will reach Hwansu earlier than Naksu. He is very talented and a fast learner. But we do want Naksu to reach Hwansu like you said, so that she doesn't need the ice stone anymore in the future.

Yes, I like the concept with part 2 having GYJ back as Naksu. It is much easier to accept the romance between Uk and Naksu if Naksu gets back to her own body. At this moment I (may be only me) can't really enjoy the romance thinking there are 2 souls in JSM body. Not to mention about the possibility of who JBY's original father could be. 🙄

In my opinion it is not about what were written. Uk said it is the heart of the letter that matters. It is saying Master Seo is willing to use the ice stone if necessary for the survival of his lover. And Uk will do the same.

Master Seo is more like Park Jin and Yul who dare not confess their love to the woman they love. That is why the love letter was never sent. And the woman he loves married other guy. It was Bu Yeon's soul. She told Naksu how dare a soul living off HER (Bu Yeon's) body thinks she is a relic.
I will not go too far with reincarnation theory. No fact to support it yet. But I do think she tried to humble Naksu who was too proud of herself having her energy back. Naksu can go to the dark side easily with the too confident attitude as if she can fully control or own the ice stone for herself

I think as wise man says, what has to happen, will happen. He just lets what supposedly to happen, happens. He does not want to interfere yet. Just wait and see. I believe he knows more or less what will happen with the big meeting. He gives Uk and Naksu the chance to make the right choice and decision. That's why when he gave Naksu's sword back to Naksu through Uk, he also attached an oral message which hints that "If" they make wrong decision (with the sword), he will not hesitate to kill them.
