good but definitely too overrated as a detective/crime drama. not mind twisting enough i suppose? and i don't know why the "romance" seems a bit force and unnatural. I like sandra ma and shes undeniably attractive but i don't really like her here :S

omg seriously i can't even...... It's truly amazing how the writers can come up with such ridiculous plot... There's only so much one can take with watching such an unrealistic and no common sense plot... it's a pity, really, since it started out great...

wow i mean.... when a historical c-drama is done right, it is so freaking good.. I usually get bored easily with political dramas and less romance but this is an exception. the cinematography is sooo visually appealing, even the music and the casting is done extremely well(and yes there's eye candies). The story line is so intriguing and has layers of complexity to it, so far there's no stupid plot line that makes you want to scream at the characters (or the producer)

i'm like dropping it two times because of kang ye won. omg so annoying, i cant even... anyway i hope i'll finish it this time >.<

One of those super rare dramas where the villain is such an enigmatic character ( even more than the protagonists) never notice kim kang woo before and now i'm a fan!

normally not a big fan of thriller, crime series but god this one is so good!! seriously can't wait for season 2!!

uhmm.. am i the only one here who just can't get into this drama? I've tried to watch it 3 times and can't get pass the first few episodes. I mean the 1 & 2 episode is so cringe worthy but i still tried to hold it in, at least the main leads are still easy on the eyes & the movie itself is visually good. first of all, there's just no logic in this drama and everything seems so elementary from the dialogues & the plot line that sometimes gets too ridiculous. Ok fine perhaps I should not overthink while watching this & i should cast the little intelligence i have aside. Secondly, we have another young, naive, & annoying female lead *sigh* & of course we have another heroic almighty prince charmingT.T ok fine, perhaps its for "character development" & despite my cynical comment I actually love romance-filled dramas. but the romance is just typical & bland so far. am i the only crazy one here who can't seem to see how "amazing" this drama is? or perhaps is it gonna get better? Another thing is that I just can't believe that people compared this to be nearly as good as bbjx. like what????!!! ok I'm going to try to continue watching because i'm not giving up now & hopefully i'll find something that will push me to keep on watching. #sorryforthehate

Therefore, I conclude that this drama is great if you actually know who is the male main lead so you won't end up hoping that she will end up with the other guy. Because if you love the other lead than i recommend you to stop watching this drama because his life in the drama is insanely tragic. and i have a bit of a problem with how the female lead can become a lady so fast after living her life as a wolf girl, it's a bit too unrealistic for me. but all in all, story line is interesting and unpredictable, cinematography is exceptional,acting is great, everything do have the same vibe as bbjx but for me bbjx is such a well rounded masterpiece that it's hard for any dramas to compare.

I really really tried to love this drama, i do, but the second lead's life is just too tragic and in the first half of the drama, they made it seem like they would end up together. I mean like he doesn't have to end up with the girl in the end but the ending just seems too depressing for me even though i love melancholic dramas like bbjx. But WTF at the end he just wanders off alone with no friends, no companions, nothing. I'm not blaming the girl that she chose the other guy in the end considering that this guy rejected many times before. I know that he's what they call it the "noble idiot" but i just can't seem to get over the ending and be okay with it. AND Hu Ge's exceptional acting just makes my heart aches even more :(
