immediately I started watching it, the cinematography, setting and costume gave the vibe of Her Feast. checked it now and it turns out it's the same screenwriter.

can someone please explain to me why his uncle keeps telling him to shut up and also refusing to answer few certain important questions? I'm confused.

the amount of ab*use to the women in this one is way too much. verbal, physical mental ab*se is heavy... short length historical dramas need to dial it down. there isn't a single woman in this drama that wasn't ab*used in one way the other, even the minor characters like the maids having their backs painted and getting b*at. And the story line is messy and all over the place- it's just no. Yes, genres can be different one can definitely write or create a dark romance story but it can be done in such a way that makes sense- this one, no.

If you grew up watching old Disney teen rom coms: sweet, cute and innocent. This is for you. It's very simple, warm, colorful, youthful and beautiful. Is it cliché? Yes, very much so but its also very nostalgic. I like that it's not complicated at all. So if you're thinking of watching it: Please do ❤️

cast, story, friendship, cinematography, youth, fluffy romance : it's a 10/10 for me

the cast - beautiful, acting - amazing, story - so far I'm hooked, fl- she's just the perfect blend of soft, smart and badass(she knows her worth), costume- I'm amazed. This is exactly the type of short web series I like, for a mini drama the execution so far has truly amazed me.

If Summer Strike (korean drama) and Meet Yourself (chinese drama) had a kid then it would be Muyilin's Pearl

I'm just going to say this. Short length web series can and should do better story lines. its very generic and predictable now. it goes like this : Revenge Plot, someone gets drugged, attempted ass*lt, kidnapping, 'let me go', 'stay still', fights and wound treatment, falling ill with a fever, accidental tripping to kisses, aggressive waist tugging, arranged marriages, sometimes may involve siblings being in love with the same lead or the siblings is a substitute for an arranged marriage.

I honestly want to watch a short length series with a different plot and story line, can we have a female lead journalist in the republican era trying to unmask some corrupt society or group and a male lead who starts of as not caring about anything in life but suddenly finds a purpose to do something makes a difference to society even if it means going against his family values. A slow burn respectful romance maybe between them? Let's see the characters grow, it can be down within a short series of 24 episodes. 8 episodes for beginning, 8 episodes for middle/climax and 8 episodes for resolution/end.

Just anything different will be nice and freshing.

nah, not what I imagined or hoped for. I was watching it at the same time as Spring Rewritten. They both kinda ended the same time and they both didn't satisfy me...just nah. Not at all what I hoped for
On Spring Rewritten Aug 15, 2025
it had so much potential but just...nah, it didnt work out the way i hope it would. imo, it should have ended at episode 22. the last episode after multiple loops of trying to get together made me shake my head cause why?? go through so much effort just to give this ending...oh well

The FL is rude to her mother. There's no excuse, no defense (terminal ill doesnt give you an excuse to speak to people in a rude manner). It just what it is- she's rude. We see a lot of dramas where the children suffer immensely because their parents are unbelievably annoying, emotional unavailable and those parents get called out for it. So imagine all her attitude towards her mummy was reserved on her, they'll be a lot of hate on her mother. The way she rolls her eyes and feels embarrassed at her mother’s presence is crazy. Yes, she wants space and time to heal , she probably doesn't want her mum seeing her suffer more but there ways to communicate it without sounding like an angst teenager that going through puberty. She finds every reason to attack her mother and feel irratated by her presence, the woman can't even catch a break. There's no form of relationship that deserves that kind of attitude towards another person. Imagine if it wasn't a mother daughter relationship. Say it was two lovers...Many characters wish to have mothers like hers but don't get. She's not a flawless mother, but she's devoted and caring, she's scared to lose her (even although she didn't even birth her). But that being said it's story and the key importance in a story is character development...so let's see. Hopeful the daughter develops. What I like about the daughter is that she wants to take risk, she doesn't want to be pitiful (though I feel she should actually take her illness seriously and see the doctor frequently), her wants to be in an environment with fresh air reminds me of a Chinese drama called The forbidden flower (highly recommend) the female lead (she was terminally ill too) in the drama kept going to the island and living happily cause she needed a break from being caged at home by her mum. It's healing, warm and refreshing.I love the scenery and setting of LT2 so much it's really what is making me hold on to it. It is very beautiful and I'm rooting for her mum and her oppa 😂.

This drama goes two ways: you like it or you don't. Depending on how you feel about Slice of Life stories- there's no hidden deep, dark secret, lingering tensed romance or drama. It's just about lawyers who are friends and working trying to navigate life. They work, they share life updates, they meet up and eat, support/encourage each other and they go home. It's a mundane moments of life. So if you like that type of genre and you're not looking for intense drama or intense story lines. This is for you. If not, you won't enjoy it. For me, I liked it, cause it feels relatable to life- going to classes/ work, talking to my friends and eating together when we hang out and of course questioning what is right or wrong when dealing with human beings. It's a drama about life. Simple. Even the romance between the main leads seems more realistic than that of the typical romance we see in other dramas- they meet each other before they're flirted on a trip, meet each other years later, still had lingering feeling and started dating after a while- it was not a drag at all, it something you see happen in real life. I liked it! it's a 8.5/10 for me.

Idk why people are expecting a season 2, in my opinion - that was the ending. It wasn't very satisfactory but…
you explained everything perfectly well ❤️

Feng yun zhi seems to be everywhere this year, ski into love and first frost now here too. Though the characters she plays are annoying(and she plays them well) I'll say she's a good actress. I love her wardrobe as Han Jia Ling.
