I really liked the first episode! I really hope there would be more scenes between Gikwang and Ji Hyo. The mix of horror, comedy in first ep is pretty well balanced.
I'm on episode 2 and I just cannot stand Nam Ji Hyun's character. It's pretty much exactly the same as all her other characters, poor, bubbly, and dumb. I can't even tell if I'm ticked off by her acting or by how dumb her character is written... I really want to continue for the family aspect, but she seems to be quite the center of the story.
I actually prefer that she was killed off if they are bringing the male lead back and not continuing on with Soo…
I feel like because I invested so much of my time with the characters, her death made the show very anticlimactic to me. Break ups are realistic, and it can cause the same type of desolation to the ML if it was a bad one which can still move the plot along. (For example, after all the times they spent together only to leave each other by ending all their memories might leave him questioning his life, and dissatisfied .) With a break up, I feel like it will be a more natural transition into a new relationship rather than with death.
Thank you for this article! I feel just the same, no matter how good the plot is, or how good looking the actors are, none of it will connect or hold my attention with me unless the characters are intricate, realistic, imperfect, and dynamic. Characterization, consistency, (with unpredictability like you said) and variety are really important in my drama taste. I feel like the FL in romantic comedies typically have the same vibe to them, and lack charm... rarely do I come across a FL that shows individuality and strong mentality without being them overly sassy or too hotheaded. It really disappoints me when the general public likes popular shows that have mediocre, similar characters.
Is it really necessary to kill Soo Ji to end their relationship? Can't the writers just make them break up or something... now my heart breaks after the second season. I can't look at it normally ever again :""""""""""""""""""(
hi! can you please help me understand that last episode why lee sun kyun is crying alone in his house while he…
Hi! There are actually a lot of explanations in the comments and threads! But my interpretation is that he is finally facing his reality that he is away from his kid, his divorced wife, and Ji An, which makes Dong Hoon all alone once again. This time, instead of pretending that he is fine, he allows himself to release those emotions rather than suppressing them.
Is it me or do i feel kinda betrayed with this show towards the end ? Was kinda hoping they would become a couple…
I honestly feel that Dong Hoon looks at Ji An with different eyes when they met again at the end. Instead of that platonic affection they had with each other before, they looked at each other with a bit more romance hehehe. (Since there isn't anything holding him back anymore)
