For me personally, this was one of those dramas that is really bad, but I couldn't stop watching.
Every episode I urged to drop the drama only because of the police scenes. First, it looked like that whole police station had only 4 employees (Naoto, two support characters and their boss). And seriously, fingerprint wasn't a thing on this show? They went all over just touching every evidence without gloves and didn't even bother with the fact that they could destroy any proof that the criminal might have left. And they did the same with every corpse too. Like, oh look, a crime scene with a dead body: let's touch everything with bare hands and move the body before taking pictures or whatever.
Those were the facts that incredibily annoyed me during the whole show.
But on the other hand, I couldn't give up because the Naruse Ryou were so good?? I immensely enjoyed the plot and wanted to keep up because I couldn't bare not knowing what was going to happen at the end.
So at the end I think it was an okay show in my opinion.
Can I just point it out how great was the character development of Tsubame?? She started as a totally shy girl with no self confidence and ended up giving an amazing speech and leading the whole school. And (thank god) this didn't happen in one episode. You can see how she slowly changes throughout the episodes. This was really well made.
I usually really don't like the teacher-student plot, but since this movie had Hirose Suzu AND Ikuta Toma I couldn't not watch it. And as expected, both were amazing. Their relationship didn't annoy me as much as I expected, but it wasn't anything spectacular either. I'm still not a fan of this kind of plot, but overall, this movie was okay. The aesthetic was on point, the cast were great and the storyline wasn't bad.
