i think its bcs she didnt believe zhanji (and anyone) thats why she didnt tell everything to him. And now zijin has allowed that or zhanji feel reluctant before bcs she wasnt show her true feeling?
2. In the final scene he said something like “i leave you here, are you blamming me?” Whats the meaning? Is zijin didnt become empress and has to live in his cottage? But from her hair accesories theres phoenix which only empress that can wear that.
