And, the vast majority of sharks can rest motionless by switching from ram breathing to a pumping action. The ability to do so depends somewhat on the oxygen level of the water. I don't know. They should have gotten the facts right or just said they generally were pitiful and used the metaphor without the bladders thing.
They even named this drama Shark so I expected them to at least not go for inaccuracies around the sharks.
