i really wanted Jenna to end up with CEO but i don't think shes gonna end up with anyone
I didn't expect that subtle romance plot at all but when they had their first fight and all the follow-up scenes, I totally fell for them too, and at least we will have that kiss and their wonderful tension-filled scenes. :D
Yes, there are plot holes but honestly? I'm just here to see the characters being finally happy again after all they went through. Their friendship and relationships are being finally healed and repaired and that's the most important thing. <3
(btw, the whole time I've been thinking I have seen Shi Yang and Hani somewhere together before and didn't these two had a photoshoot five/six years ago for some brand?)
I've watched both shows and I love both equally. Each has its own concept when it comes to warping time and changing their timelines. Yes, the very baseline (two people in two timelines making contact) is the same but how they go from there is entirely different.
So, yeah, I'm one of the few who really enjoys both. :D
would it be too much to ask for romance in the last 2 remaining episodes?? i really like the chemistry between…
Their chemistry is great. I loved the last few episodes when they were in the same timeline but on opposite sides - such good tension! However, I can't wait for them to work together in this timeline because the two of them as one team? Sparks would fly and the bad guys wouldn't stand a chance. Maybe it's just me and my shipper glasses but I thought there were a few hints here and there in recent episodes that painted their relationship a little bit romantic, especially when he told Seo Ki Tae that they "both would lose something precious".
Oh. My. God. Episode 9 was one hell of a ride. I have watched it RAW but yeah, I need subs like right now because A) I guess the two made up but I need translated confirmation and B) WHAT THE FUCK IS HAPPENING??? The ending? My poor heart can't take it. This show is hardcore and I love it.
Looks like their roles are going to be reversed now if Jin Woo still has the phone and can connect to the past Jung In. He could actually prevent her death unlike his brother's.
I need these two to work together again because they make a abdass team. <3
Urgh, I know, right? (¬_¬) Someone should have told the writers not to give them so much scenes that could be interpreted as more. *facepalm* No offense to Hye Won but in my eyes she doesn't make a good match with Jung Woo. ┐(o_o)┌
I just had a crazy thought (though in this drama "crazy" is pretty common...): What if Joon Hyuk finds out that Tae In payed child support for Eun Chan in secret and decides to use that fact to claim that Eun Chan is Tae In's and Eun Dong's kid and not her brother? I mean, we've had a few scenes in which Joon Hyuk has seen Tae In with Eun Chan and the way he acts around the kid and I doubt they've shown these moments for nothing, right?
One of the scenes in Ep. 53 that I really like - apart from the obvious OTP scenes of course - is when Tae In's father wants to know if they had a fight because he apparently watched them and saw how they were avoiding looking at each other. It's like his dad-radar went off - but twice. He got Eun Dong father's heart after all and that makes him now a Dad²... xD
I'm definitely in the minority here because I never was able to become a fan of Luther. I just couldn't connect with it and dropped it after three/four episodes. This series however, I binged in one go. I love the set-up, not a remake of Luther but more loosely-based-on, and the characters are all really well-written. They all have their faults, no one is perfect, but I guess that's what makes them so likeable and relatable. The story is interesting too, the way things and persons are connected, in the past and present, but most importantly I really liked the path of Tae Seok and Sun Jae. I'm a sucker for dramatic connections between leads and here we get a truck load of it, no to mention the chemistry they have in some scenes. Overall, I'm going to have a rewatch (probably more ^^) in the forseeable future.
Binge-watched the entire series and movies and wow, this escalated quickly. The series, the special(s) and the first movie were great but the last two were just a disaster. The only reason why I watched till the very end were the moments between Toma and Sebumi, such a great slowburn over the course of the entire franchise. The ending broke my heart but it also gave me hope? Still, it's one of the few dramas I'd rec to everyone.
