Friends

Title Deep Night
I didn't care for the primary couple before (bad acting, boring, no chemistry), but now they had to spoil the secondary couple with this ridiculous love triangle. And Seiji and Japan were so cute so far, I watched it just for them. I give it one more episode, but if they keep this up, I'll drop it.

I wouldn't call DH "HW's closest friend" on the show. That's more like JW. HW is on good terms with YJ, MH, KT,…
I admit I don't care anymore who will finish the show with whom. I prefer to focus on friendships, it's less toxic. I really like HW's moments with JW or KT, but I think she has a good time with Mk too. Too bad we see so little of those. I also love the HW-YJ moments. I think HD-JE-YJ can have good conversations too just little of it is shown.

And they talk a lot from the first episode, they are shown very little, but almost every episode has short clips of the two of them. That's why you see JW now looking for HW to talk to. From the beginning I've been watching duality because I love the sibling vibe....

I understand what you are saying. I'm just saying that from watching the show , I as a viewer consider JW to be HW's closest friend. Then maybe that's not the case because we don't see the 24 hour recordings.

I find it weird going to DH and hoping for good words from her even though HW knows that DH still likes DJ. Kind…

Another week another wave of hatred....now JW and HW are on the agenda. Of course, the editing also plays into this quite a bit. SK and DH fans are in their element on the forums.

Even today's episode was only made bearable by JW-HW scenes.

Maybe the 18th episode will be better. The Truth Game was exciting in the previous two seasons.

Title Hello Summer
Fengfeng and Yichun broke up, I read on twitter today. Looks like 2024 is going to be a rough one for the couples of dating shows. This is the 3rd or 4th breakup I've read about this year.

after finding myself loving those Dongjin/Hyewon moments the preview comes and slap me like that. at this point…
I think the 17 episode preview is misunderstood by a lot of people. I don't think there is anything serious going on between DJ-HW. It's edited on purpose.....or at least I'd like to think so.

Well, none of the rumours show him in a positive light.

He says he broke up with her because he was insecure of his financial status (he was super poor at the time and…
There are many rumours about why he invited her to the show.
1. He wanted fame.
2. He first wanted to invite his post-HW girlfriend to the show, but she refused and only invited HW after that.
3. He couldn't forget her and still loves her and is now in a better financial position. Everyone can take their pick.

can you please guys tell why HH and HW broke up??? Mainly because of what things?
Well, as I understand it, because he didn't have enough money and couldn't buy her anything.
HH worked in a candy store and the only thing HW got was a pack of candy. That's why it was so important to HW because it was the only gift she got from him, she only ate 1 piece a day. When HH gave out the candy to the others, that's why she broke down and had a crying fit.
On their dates I guess HW paid. This took an emotional toll on HH , I guess his self-esteem suffered. He eventually told HW that he no longer loved her. HW recalled exactly what he said to her, it must have been quite traumatic if she remembers literally what he said to her 1 year after the break up.
I think that's a pretty strange reason for breaking up, because this girl loved/loves this guy so much she would give her kidney to him.

after reading the comments I make the decision to skip episode 16 and watch episode 17 when it's out 🤡
After watching the preview for episode 17, I think it's better to skip that one too...then everyone will probably hate HW, DJ and HH.😅

That's why SK said she didn't want to choose HW as his date as they might have too much fun lol
yes, I know...I noticed that whenever JW-HW cooked together, SK was always around. But they have a total sibling vibe.

This episode was a torture. Only the JW-HW moments were enjoyable for me. I love their friendship, and would have loved to see them on a date, because I'm sure they would have both had a great time. They could both use a little chill time.

I strongly disagree on Guilty.. They were the ones that worked together the best.. They have 4 different voices…
I'm not going to argue with you about this. You felt one way and I felt another. Good thing you can vote and it changed a bit and they got a chance again (Drownin team). The judges always downvote them and the mnet editing is really "interesting" in the show, but I could have really gotten used to that from Mnet.
I always listen to the songs first (not watch the performance), then again but then I watch them, so I always get a clearer picture and I'm not influenced by the dancing or the way they look.
This is my ranking based on the titles of the numbers:
1. Drowning - I loved them, they were all very good and complemented each other perfectly. Their voices, their performance style, their clothing, everything was perfect.
2. Drama - they were good. They had a good voice and the performance was good. But they didn't impress me as much as Drowning.
3. Uptown Funky-It was the song itself that carried this performance, of course they have a good voice, but I was missing something.
4. Guilty-It wasn't bad, but somehow they couldn't really put it together, like I was watching 4 separate performances.
5. Gift - I felt the same as with Guilty
I really like Japanese dramas and revenge dramas, but for the first time I can't identify or sympathise with the main character. I must admit that I'm really annoyed, maybe it's the actress, I don't know.
I'll watch it now, but I certainly don't like it, neither the direction nor the camera work.
