i remember a few comments saying that 23.5 isn't that good, and that people wouldn't defend it as much if it wasn't GL. but like, even though it's a simple fluffy story, it just makes me feel so seen as a lesbian in a way that BL or het shows don't. it's such a different feeling, to see yourself represented and relate to the characters more and more each episode. i believe that's the difference from those who love 23.5, and those who think it's just another high school show. those who get it, get it
