Oh is it the warp effect? i've been meaning to watch it! do you know how prevalent is the gl couple in the show? i assumed they were side characters, but i could be wrong.

this makes me so sad, the actresses looked so good together... hopefully with the wave of upcoming thai gl, girllove girlfriend will get picked up again :(

from my point of view, the bl couple is not a problem at all. personally, i really enjoy shows with wlw/mlm solidarity, it creates a sense of community that is very accurate to real life lgbtq+ experiences, and i do think it's a good way to attract viewers who are not used to gl.

however, it is disrespectful and dismissive towards milklove and sapphic media in general for bl fans to hype the m/m couple as if they are the main characters, saying that the show will only be watched because of them, that a gl-centric show can't stand on its own, and so on. it is borderline misogynistic and lesbophobic, even if it's not intentional.

there are like, 30 bl shows on gmmtv alone, and this is the very first gl. why do people feel the need to comment that they are only watching 23.5 because of the bl couple? why not give the show a chance because of the actresses amazing chemistry, because the story sounds interesting, because you want to try watching something a bit different from what you normally do?

there's nothing wrong with being excited about your favorite actors being in a new project, but not everything has to be about the guys. it shows a lack of understanding on the impact and relevance this show and this couple will have for sapphic representation, so please, try to understand that.

let's hype MILKLOVE, 23.5, and all future gl productions. this representation is so important, just as important as mlm representation, and it will literally save lives. i'm not exaggerating.

(and yes, attacking the actors is totally unacceptable. they have nothing to do with the fans' behavior, and deserve nothing but love and respect. we can all be mature and polite about this).

FOR REAL. Like, respect for the actors, they look sweet, but the fans are being so annoying. After so long we are finally getting a GL show (with an AMAZING PAIRING LIKE MILKLOVE) and they're trying to make it all about the guys... again. Sapphics can't have anything. Sigh.

For those who want to support the show but don't have a lot of money to spare, I recommend waiting until episode 5 comes out on March 31st to subscribe to the GrandTV channel. Since the last episode comes out on April 28th, you can cancel the subscription right after watching it, and you will only be charged once.

also hope 23.5 will be the first of many gl shows by gmm! such an important step for more sapphic visibility in thai dramas

i just KNOW this is going to be so healing... we're finally getting the fluffy high school romance us sapphics deserve. and it will be such a huge success, no doubt about it. not only are milk and love super talented, it is the kind of story that we've been waiting for for SO long. simply can't wait!!

it was postponed to the 28th! episode 2 comes out on march 10th, and then new episodes will be released every friday.

reading some of the comments reminded me of the one complaint i have about it though. WE NEED MORE TEEYUKI! i could perfectly envision a special episode dedicated to them. or maybe the actresses could work together on a new project, i would love to watch that.

gap has changed me, and im not exagerating. i have never watched a show that cares so deeply about showing an accurate, honest sapphic story, one that, dispite the painful moments, is ultimately about the joy and beauty of being a woman in love with another woman. hollywood could never replicate something like this. now i cannot wait for all the new gl shows we have coming up, but gap will always hold a very special place in my heart.

Hey! Both series are part of the same "universe". They are based on the book series "Be Mine", which has four books: More & More, Be my Baby, Be my Boo, and Be my Sugar. Each book focuses on a different couple, but the characters show up throughout the whole series. More & More is the first book, which follows primarily Tawan and Winnie, and will be the first adaptation to come out. Be my Baby will be the second series in this shared universe, following Sitang and Jaojay. The adaptations of the other two books (Be my Boo and Be my Sugar), have not been announced yet. To sum up: they are different, idependent series, but are related to each other. Hope this helps!!
