Well,, with this series I have mixed feelings. The acting was truly amazing however the story just felt very… lacking? Almost as if it was incomplete. Everything else was really good but there was a 20+ year age gap between the two characters which made it uncomfortable at times (both are legal adults though?). Also, not to mention, there are only 8 episodes and the last episode did not really feel like a last episode. I feel like the conflict never got resolved completely and only brushed the surface of being resolved.

Mysterious yet Cute

Honestly one of my all-time favorites. The story was amazing but it was a little bit rushed towards the end . It's suspected to have a second season which I really hope for. The characters were extremely relatable and the chemistry between the actors was very well. Portrayal of certain characters were perfectly done to the point you really feel those emotions the character did. I feel like if it was longer the ending would have been so much better. If you want something that is cute and soft with a great enemies to lovers trope (not cringey or anything) yet is super mysterious and has a pretty good plot twist, I definitely suggest watching it.

A Series Worth Watching At Least Once. *VERY VERY LIGHT SPOILERS*

Honestly, it’s a shame that I didn’t watch this series sooner or when it was airing because I had the opportunity to. I have been watching Thai BLs for about 4 years now, and I can very confidently say this is by far one of the BEST I have seen. I am not necessarily a big fan of the OffGun couple and I used to only watch series my favorite couples played in. However, I was INCREDIBLY wrong to do so. Everyone in this show BROUGHT IT. They did not come to play at all! The emotions, characters, and scenarios were played out so perfectly I couldn’t think of any better way they could’ve done it. Off, Gun, and First are some of the best actors in this industry in my opinion... and especially Gun with this role. To be able to pull off two different characters THIS well is a huge indicator of your talent. I was nervous at first that it would feel cringey, or that the acting would be too similar, but it was the exact opposite! The contrast between White and Black was so real, it was completely astonishing to me. The raw emotion felt and the immense amount of realism portrayed in these characters made this series feel so grounded… of course on top of the fact that this is a very real issue that they are tackling. The story is insanely complex and holds true to our world and society even after it’s been a couple of years since its release. The amount of morality questions asked throughout this series pertaining to the justice system and ourselves, really forced you to think from many different perspectives. The cinematography was great as well, it felt real. No heavy makeup, the lighting set the mood, and the music was not obnoxious or “ruining the moment”. The love story was not rushed, and instead it went at a very good pace. I honestly have nothing much bad to say about this series, if I could give it a 10 I would, but I feel there might always be something to improve on… for example, there are some minor plot-holes and I do wish that some things were explained a little more. However, I think they did a good job of wrapping it up regardless. This show made me write my first ever public review because I want to tell people they NEED to watch this. Even if OffGun isn’t your favorite pairing, you can not deny the in-show chemistry and skills they have are some of the absolute BEST. Give this series a try, I guarantee you would love it.

Well it was definitely a cinematic masterpiece…

The concept in itself (from what I interpreted) was incredibly compelling. The story of a strict, but very pained grim reaper that emphasizes “too much” on perfection, causing him to become terrifying yet marvelous. The story of an expressive and free angel that emphasizes “too much” on expression, causing him to become captivating yet chaotic. These two stories are intertwined on the dance floor — one that takes a certain kind of passion and resilience, that both of them lack in their respective ways. Their skills and talents only take them so far and the passion they have is for all the wrong reasons. Only when they were together could they unleash their true potential. The reaper learned to let loose and be vulnerable from the angel, and the angel learned there is still structure needed from the reaper. When they both learned that their missing pieces of passion was each other… it was beautiful. However, I was still extremely disappointed with the way the story was handled. I think the lacking story and dialogue is what sent me over the edge because truthfully, the cinematography and acting itself was outstanding. All props to the actors and cinematographers. It must have been such a hassle for the actors to learn to dance like this in the first place for this movie (unless they did not need to) so I honestly applaud that as is. The story felt very rushed and it almost felt as if they were unsure of how to fit it all into one movie. I feel like as a viewer, we should have seen more of them as people, because truthfully, we know very little about the characters other than the obvious. I think it would have been nice to understand their thinking, and to know the feelings behind what was expressed. It would have been nice to understand fully how the relationship developed. I feel like their love story was very rushed and slightly confusing. The story shouldn’t just be left up for our interpretations, while it’s nice, I still feel like it lacks structure. As I’m writing that, I’m thinking maybe that was the point. Or maybe I’m thinking too deep. Maybe it’s meant to lack structure and be left up to interpretation based on raw emotion… but on the other hand, leaving out structure creates confusion…just as the characters in this movie were explaining. I can’t tell how I feel about this movie. I was disappointed by the lack of storytelling and dialogue, but nonetheless, the raw emotion felt made sure it was definitely not a waste of time. If there is a sequel, I would definitely watch. Not so sure about rewatching the first movie, though.

It’s a show!

Don’t watch this…. This is SO much better than the first season. Last season there was a severe lack in communication and it was pretty toxic so it became annoying to continue watching. This still was kind of annoying to watch because it doesn’t feel like seven years of love.. However, this season there was some improvement to communication. It was much less toxic (still was in a lot of scenes but they worked it out in a healthier way this time…sometimes) and actually really cute to watch (sometimes… heavy on the sometimes ).

So Good

I'm not far in it but oh my god. Honestly I thought this was a BL at first which is why I started watching it but actually it's kind of a murder mystery between all the characters... and I really love mysteries especially betrayal stories. It's very interesting as of now. The acting is top notch and characters are easy to connect to but also easily suspicious as well. I’ll definitely keep watching when I have more time. If you’re someone who hates back-stabbing or one of those people who hate plots where you could possibly hate everyone in the series then I wouldn’t recommend it.
