BRIDGERTON BUT MAKE IT CHINESE!!!
Finally there’s something new and fresh coming from C-drama!!I trully recommend this drama especially to those who watch bridgerton! At first I thought the story would be all about 3rd daughter & the restaurant owner, but i didnt expect this series to have developing stories episode by episode. Totally invested in their dramaa
at first i was hesitant to watch bcs i thought it would be boring to watch drama with historical background ( chinese dynasty etc) but it turns out to be great! it is delivered in such a modern way that for me, is easy to understand. it maybe confusing to understand the chinese background & old ancient culture but after watching this, i am totally interested!!

am i the only one who cry aLOT while watching this series??
this is the first time i cry alot while watching kdramaa!!!😭😭😭 im on eps 9 & i cried on 4/5 out of 9 episode😭the acting really got me and idk about this drama that literally brings my chest to pain :( seing the struggle that the character went through really hurt me so much.i know this is the remake of go ahead, i havent watch go ahead ( bcs its 40 freakin episode) but bcs of this series, i tried to watch & i think the korean version is better! the storyline is straightforward compare to goahead & the aesthetic of the drama is really great!

while waiting for new episodes to come out, i continue to watch goahead. the KDRAMA IS SOOO MUCH BETTER IN MY OPINION! the character of li jianjian is too childish imo. i might say the k drama is more realistic irl & i didnt cry a bit while watching goahead :/, even when the 2 brothers leave abroad.
in summary, LOVE that the Kdrama is more straightforward compare to the cdrama & i support the writer’s changes in the kdrama series :)

THE 1ST CHINESE COLOSSAL DRAMA THAT I’M FOND OF
Very good storyline, the plot is really unexpected and surprising yet it is very well organized.Typical chinese colossal drama is actually not my cup of tea. I have watched several CN colossal drama yet i felt really bored w the storyline, it felt so ancient. when I 1st watch ep 1&2, I have no interest to watch it further; i started playing w my phone while the drama is still playing on my ipad. however, starting from ep3 is really what got me here.
the plot is very well organized, unexpected conflicts, unexpected result, & very good acting! a lot of scheming which remind me to my fave west TV show (GossipGirl!😝)

Story is good, but i feel no chemistry ?
The story is actually good, the conflict is kinda heavy and complicated yet it is wrapped in a very unique and interesting story. The plot & scene is somewhat unique, flashbacking & fast forwarding as well as surprise scene at the end of each episodehowever why i dont feel any chemistry between the main lead ( sang yan & wen yi fam) 😖 idk if its a bad act or smth but the feel is not theree ( compared to both zhuyi’s drama; hidden love and wifty) the couple doesnt really seem to ‘deeply fall in love’. Early episode is kinda boring ( fell asleep while watching 😭), gloomy mood, whispering convo, had to dropped but forcing myself to watchh.
in conclu : story’s good but sorry to say i dont like the act of both main leads :(
[EDIT] : It keeps getting better!! early episode is too boring for me, it is a very SLOW BURN drama, i started to enjoy more of the episode from ep 17/18 i guess. the chemistry is getting better towards the end. well afterall, the storyline is what’s keeping me watching till the end.

VERY GOOD DRAMA OF 2024!!
This i must say is the best drama of lin yi & zhou ye!! The expression, acting is very well captured and on point!! I’m very impressed by their act, the shocking expression, the expression of regret, both can be seen clearly in front of camera. I love how the storyline contains a bit of comedy, it is very refreshing & light to watch. I usually never watch if the drama is not completed yet, but looking at the trailers & tiktok vid about them makes me very eager to watch ASAP! 1000000/10 very recommended!! i would rewatch it again n againWas this review helpful to you?
DEFINITELY A COMFORT MOVIE
been watching for at least 3 times!! the plot is so good, every scene is not boring!! moreover the visuals are soo good!! NEED a season 2 ASAP!!the conflicts is not so heavy which is why it is definitely a comfort movie that you can watch it over and over again. it is very relatable and realistic, especially in the e-sport industry. it does not over dramatize which a lot of other chinese series did.
also lets talk about the visuals! where else can you find XK & zhou yiran in the same moviee!! ++ every individual has its own charisma and unique traits which is why you wouldnt find it boring!!
