It might be just pure arithmetic average of all ratings, a weighted one based on your watching and account status, episode ratings might play a role in it.... honestly, I don't put much weight on MDL ratings. But from what I've seen, it rarely budges aside from few (first 2) weeks after finale (binge-watchers) and when something major happens (off-screen drama, possible sequels/spin-off announcements or releases).

Not really. I personally didn't and there's nothing I missed out on because of it (there's one MoD cameo, but really unimportant as far as plit goes. Basically just fluff.)
That said, depending on how (and if) they decide to continue, it might be worth it to watch MoD afterwards (I intend to.)
But it looks like a very standard BL with all the tropes, so no wonder it's popular.
Official thai release on channel 3 (you can already watch it without subtitles on ch 3+ website and app).
I doubt there will be any youtube release, though it's not impossible.
Our best bet is probably to wait for Viki, which usually takes them at least a day to add subtitles.
