How do you feel about the new Gap-Sing development?
Honestly, I'm kinda disappointed. Not only because I'm a Rit-Sing shipper, but mostly because it felt really anticlimatic. Like, they're just boyfriends all of a sudden and that's it? No tension climax? No confession? No "first kiss" ? I think they haven't made them kiss in the bed scene, just because the writers didn't want fans to get their first seen kiss like that. But them being boyfriends very much hints that they've kissed before. Which is a let down even for me, and I don't even like that pairing so much tbh.
Another thing is, how this affects the main loop Gap and Sing? Some people think they'd already been together the whole time during the story, and just been hiding it. I very much hope not. It would make a bit of sense, but also not that much. And it would be hella disappointing to me, knowing they were dancing around each other for no real reason, and that Rit never really had a chance.
Frankly (most likely super unpopular opinion!!!), after this episode, I don't want them to end up together in the main loop. Like, at all. No open ending. No maybe hints. I want to make the show clear that they aren't going to be a pairing! I just feel cheated and betrayed. Messed with. And Rit has little to do with it. I will feel the same way even if they pair Rit up with someone else, or make it super obvious that there is no chance of Rit - Sing. Just... why would you do that? 😓
"I find the Gap and SIng thing very, very hard to believe. There's been no hint of it, and there's no reason for…
"I took as they were always together but keeping it secret, but you might be right."
I hope not. That would feel too out of blue in my opinion. The way they acted towards each other in the main loop seemed to me as more of a (unreciprocated on a surface) attraction, than actual relationship being hidden. Like, why would they hid it in the main loop, but not here? There isn't much time-difference either way. What changed? At least us, viewers should have been shown in that case. Or get major reveal inside the main loop. Otherwise, it's even more anticlimatic than this.
"what's the point of introducing things that won't be in the main storyline?"
I think it's meant to make the test harder for Tol to pass. Just to make it confusing for him, or to influence the conflicts somewhat. For example, Sing being official with Gap could mean either of them won't be as involved in the organ trafficking subplot, because they will consider their relationship a priority at times. Rit's problems seem to be cleared already, so I can't see how the potential lack of support from Sing would matter much to him now. Unless it gets ruined again.
As for what it brings to the main storyline, not much. One could argue it would make Tol aware of feelings between Sing and Gap, which could urge him to play a matchmaker. But that's one hell of a reach.
Ok Loopers, I think I'm the only one who didn't enjoy this episode. It's well played, funny at times. But !I feel…
I'm not sure how this fits into the overall plot.
Is this a new loop? Alternative timeline? A test? What happens if Tol succeeds? Will he get back to before Tin's death? And what if he fails?
I also think the subtitles were confusing this time around. For example, does Tol have only one try? That's how I interpreted Jinta's warning about Tol failing. But if so, why is Tol taking his time to "get to know Tin" leisurely?
It's just... Triage always built up on the previous episodes, adding more complexity and options. This feels like retconning/abandoning all that happened before.
I still enjoyed this episode, just not as much as usual. There was too little Tin. Too much nonsensical changes. Rit's situation is weird. GapSing kinda got together, but in very weird and unsatisfactory way? Even Jinta is confusing. Just.... let's see what happens next. This reminds me of the P&M episode 10 situation, when they just did a 180 without thinking it through.
I like this series, but there were too many "cheats" this episode, and I don't think they're part of some test…
"I find the Gap and SIng thing very, very hard to believe. There's been no hint of it, and there's no reason for secrecy, at least not with their friends."
I think this current loop is sort of an AU that doesn't really fit into the previous loops or the timeline before loops seamlessly.
Also, I agree about the "cheats". It's getting pretty confusing and unbelievable without set rules. I get that a lot of exposition is boring, but what's the purpose of Jinta's character if not to guide us and explain this stuff?
Wait, am I the only idiot that didn't realize that the doctor in episode 6 was SAMMON???
I didn't notice it either at first, until someone pointed it out in their commentary of the episode!! I rewatched the scene multiple times afterwards, trying to find them.
I haven't read the novel / know SAMMON beforehand, though, so I have an excuse XD
is there a difference between this and the adaptation from 2019? do I need to watch them both?
You don't need to watch the old one!
I haven't seen it, so I can't say exactly how much they differ, but from what I heard it's just a very short version with the same base premise and actors, but different plot. I think of it as a special "OVA" adaptation, based on which they judged whether full series will be popular/profitable enough to make.
I plan to watch it after this one ends, to not influence my feelings from the full series. I expect this one to be the better one, just because of the longer run-time if nothing else 😃
Honestly, lately it's been the weekends that feel way worse for me 😅
It's a never-ending loop of :
1. "It's weekend! I should just relax, read a book, watch some stuff and spend time with my family!! 🥰"
and
2. "You're barely even doing anything during the week! Why do you think you deserve a rest? You should work on all the stuff you've been neglecting! 😡"

Aww, Jinta's feelings are hurt! He tries so hard to get our two protagonists together, and Tol just doesn't get it 😭😭😭
Too far back, Jinta! Stop it already!
I changed my mind. Perfect place for reset 🥰
Or kick Lookprae. Win can at least serve as the eye-candy of the team 🍡
I don't like this 'Jinta'. It will raise some questions.
Ok, false alarm. But the 'AFK report' 🤣
I knew it! He's just matchmaking them. Once Jinta's boss learns about this, they will be angry for sure!
Why, Jinta?! Tin at least got re-dos!
You don't deserve to die, Tol 😭😭😭
That was rude, Tin!
This is getting a tad confusing. How did Tin get into Tol's dream?
Oh, no. Please, don't assault Tin to "bring back" his memories! 😳
His "boyfriend". That's an interesting little piece of information 😶
I'm not crying! It's good they have each other. I guess. We still have Art-Rit left 🥺
We did not like the ending 😬
I haven't read the novel / know SAMMON beforehand, though, so I have an excuse XD

Same. My brain just said big fat "NOPE!" 😔
1. "It's weekend! I should just relax, read a book, watch some stuff and spend time with my family!! 🥰"
and
2. "You're barely even doing anything during the week! Why do you think you deserve a rest? You should work on all the stuff you've been neglecting! 😡"
It's pretty interesting, just... taxing experience weekly 😔
Both of them staying alive/dying together would be a "happy ending".
Just Tol dying would be fatalistic and feel kinda meaningless in the bigger picture 🖤
Because hard same! I'm just trying to hold on to 6 pm (release time for me) 😭😭
I'm silently preparing my heart for being crushed 💔
But yes, bingewatching this short K-BLs is usually better. Especially when they have a movie cut.
