Has this drama finished airing? What about the ending?
Today is the release date of Ep 32-36 (Finale) for all WeTV Express package subscribers.... Original Novel says HE, but still scared since drama did not follow the novel religously
Today is the release date of Ep 32-36 (Finale) for all WeTV Express package subscribers....countdown begins, I don't want this drama to end but I hope we end this on a high note, holding my breathhhhhhhhhh
Please someone spoil me, are all the characters alive in the end? (I'm asking about the good guys, the bad ones…
The novel provides a Happy Ending (HE) to everyone, Main Couple will even get a daughter (Fei Fei), ~~~and the Epilogue/Side Story, ( they have now become official Emperor and Empress) will even give birth to a Prince...
But not all plot points of novel will be followed by drama, so there is a level of uncertainty still...some leaks indicate a sad fate to the secondary couples w/c is different from novel (which I don't kinda mind as long as main couple retains the HE... child Fei Fei is definitely in the drama though)
I'm sorry, i started rhis late, but was the pattern on the pillow? Ep 9.
“100 children” known in Chinese as “100 suns & 1000 grandsons” (百子千孫) is another similar but a different motif and is in particular is often associated with weddings. This one peaked in popularity during the Ming and Qing Dynasties and the number of children in each scene increased significantly.
Supposedly this motif refers to Zhou Wen Wang, the founder of the Zhou Dynasty who had 99 sons and adopted 1 more for an even 100!
So yeah, the fertility design was funny because it was like Manman implying to Zhonglin that she wants plenty of children 🤣🤣🤣
If I can hazard a guess, I think it's because Wei Shao is still thinking about the feud between Wei clan and Qiao…
still depends if that scene will be cut or included, I think... 🤔
if it will be included: I think the Novel says after that painting was burned down, Wei Yan gets his act together and supports the CP and Wei clan to the end 😊
plus I believe Wei Shao's clothing was different during the heart to heart talk, and the burning the painting scene...
Does anyone know why wei shao asked wei yan if he can alow himself to fall for xiao qiao? Its because wei yan likes…
If I can hazard a guess, I think it's because Wei Shao is still thinking about the feud between Wei clan and Qiao clan....the animosity is great that feeling any form of affection is making him feel guilty, that feeling of like he betrayed his clan to fall for the enemy belle...
So he's asking for counsel to his cousin who was one of the clansmen who have been angry with the Qiaos
The tunnel thing is drama only, but same concept with what took placed in the novel. Angst will surely come of…
Thank you so much for the clarification! :)
Yep, with all the fluff we are getting possibly all the way 'til Thu or Fri (??), I'm beginning to worry what level of angst/storm we will get.
As a beginner in C-Dramas I am not desensitized yet on the number of Sad Ending Dramas this industry churns out, that even if I keep hearing novel ended in HE, the Directors+Writers can do a full 180 /nervously shaking/ so I have to prep my mind and heart in advance
For the Novel Readers: Will the Secret + Purpose of Boya Tunnel be an important challenge the main couple must face to create some trust between them?
With the drama not strictly following the novel (w/c could go good or bad, depending on the scene omitted/added) I'm starting to get really really nervous on the mining @ Boya that I am nail-biting now wondering if the writers and director will include it on the show
[Saw some comments regarding the tunnel, and nervously felt like this can be heart-breaking T__T ]

I prefer getting stressed over Wei Shao being unromantic and Qiao Xiao getting frustrated by it HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
