Just finished this and it was kind of a hit and miss for me. Didn’t love, but didn’t hate it. Just kind of…
Agree with all your points! I love the vibe they were seemingly going for in this drama - younger ML/older FL sexy romance with a bit of trauma and crime in it - but it it did fell short. Do you know any dramas with similar vibe but better story/chemistry perhaps? Will be greatful for any recs!
A lot of people wonder why Nan Heng loves Song Yimeng and upon rewatching I thought the answer was quite obvious.…
Agree with all your points but I wouldn't necessarily say that FL is a simple-minded or stupid. She's street smart, quick-minded and witty - I enjoyed her character a lot more than, for example, the FL from the POB.
You can’t convince me that it’s not an amateur production. The acting is great but the script, camera work, editing is very subpar. This drama feels like it’s someone’s graduation work on a big budget. Disappointing as it started so well.

I love the older woman/younger man trope when it’s done right. I said the dynamics between them made them look like mom and son, it’s not about the age gap at all, it’s about how they treat each other and their behavior. Unfortunately, I haven’t found any noona romance that I’d give 10/10 and that is exactly why I keep watching them - I hope to find one someday! I think She and her Perfect Hisband was the best in this category from what I’ve seen so far apart from the butchered ending.
P.S. Take it easy, mate. We all love different things and have our own icks, it’s okay not to like something that others do.
just finished ep2 and ngl it’s hard to root for the main couple to get together again because the ML seems like an absolutely irredeemable jerk. hope it gets better soon…

yeah, sorry, I meant mom/son dynamics! exactly, like the ML from the Rational Life, he was quite mature for his age, so it made sense she fell for him. He was also older, I think in Falling for You they made him too young.

I have the same thoughts about this drama. It was hard for me to root for main leads as a couple because their dynamics are more like mom and dad the two adults in love. I think they should’ve made him older and more mature for it to work. I hated their first kiss due to what you said, wtf was that?
