Yes that's what I meant in daoming si's role i think didi fit more but yan xi looks really good here. looking forward to watching the drama. eyy yan xi. he was in super idol with dylan wang and was actually competing with him for doaming si's role in meteor garden. i totally preferred didi though lol i'll give him a chance here

I felt like that in a lot of scenes actually. things would happen so abruptly and you feel like you skipped an episode or something like that fight with sanshui and bowen i am assuming she asked him to take the fall for her and pretend he is the one who took that picture and submitted it but i don't know nothing was explained. I watched it on viki so I don't know if the original had more scenes or what. and yes i was like that was random when she said she didnt want to see him again but then later last ep during a flashback it sort of hints that she did tell him she liked him coz later he asks her if she still likes him. ending was very abrupt too nothing for a year and then bam randomly decided to come to her uni and admit he likes her and that's the end tf. there were some things i absolutely loved but others i absolutely hated so i don't know how to feel about this drama. it had such great potential though sigh.

Yes, there are too many flashbacks and yes it didn't need 40 eps so it had to get a bit draggy in the middle but that's typical for long Chinese dramas. What's not typical is me not skipping anything even the damn flashbacks because I couldn't get enough of William Chan. How have I not found him before. My God, he is gorgeous! and a good actor to boot. Also fell in love with bai bai and everyone else in here. The dialogues and the way the story was revealed bit by bit. The good parts were so good I didn't mind the few minor flaws at all. And never have I seen such a satisfying ending in a drama. Though I was so in love with everyone I didn't want to say goodbye at all. I miss them all. The family relationships. The two fathers. The bromance though a bit cringey at times and li xian sometimes annoying but still loved him. Even an jie I couldn't really hate hate her like I can so easily do to other evil female leads. They were all just very.....human. Any recommendations for a drama hangover? I need something super cute now sigh.
