Gosh, I miss this show so much!!! I just got volume 3 of the manga in the mail today. *Spoiler* There are extra scenes between Adachi and Kurosawa, and at one point I flew my manga away from me because MY HEART COULDN'T TAKE IT! I missed these two so much, and if you do too, I highly recommend the manga. Makes me a tad sad that some of scenes from the manga were cut from the series, but oh well. Volume 4 won't come out until next year, so we've got some time to kill until then, haha! Hoping for a season 2!

Hm, maybe it was always intended to be a mini series and not a film so that's why they cut them? Who knows why they decided to cut the scenes. We have them now though, at least!

Wah, it's almost been a month since Cherry Magic ended. I'm still not over it lol.

Really? I felt like it wasn't that different from the manga. At least, they covered all of the important moments in the story. I thought it was handled beautifully and really enjoyed the film. It's no Cherry Magic, but it left me feeling warm and fuzzy when it was over.

Any updates so far on Akaso and Keita's recent shoot they did? I'm so curious.

It's good! I recommend it :) And it's not too long, so that's great!

Hahaha! To be fair, the film just released in September. So we are half way through the waiting period! Plus, the cast is pretty well known, I have no doubt that someone will make subs for it. We just have to be patient, even if it sucks hahhahah

While I'm so, SO sad that this show is over and my Thursdays will never be the same again, I hope that we will get more boys love dramas like this one from Japan in the future. Anyone else feel that way? Like even if Cherry Magic doesn't come back, I hope this will open the door at least for new boys love drama to be produced in Japan.
I adore this cast, but if it the series doesn't continue, I hope that this series opens the door for more special dramas like Cherry Magic. <3
For example, Yuuki Furukawa's new boys love film coming out this year looks fantastic and wholesome like this one, and I cannot wait! (But still absolutely keeping my fingers crossed and hoping for a season 2 of Cherry Magic. Kurodachi forever. )<3

I totally understand. I think that's why the kiss needed to happen, because we were so heart broken. Had the break up not happened, I would have been fine without a kiss. I just felt cheated, since most straight dramas even allow kissing. I am also hoping for more content, even a movie I would be happy with!

I wonder if episode 11 is part of the reason why so many people are upset by the finale? Lol. We're all still traumatized from it! Like they just got back together right away and it hadn't even been an entire episode since the break up! We didn't really have time to get over the fact that the break up happened. Like someone mentioned earlier, this show moved SO quickly, it would have been nice for the ending to feel a bit more complete. But still a fantastic show. I am so glad I watched it! <3

I completely agree with this perspective. I think that's why it bothered me, especially by having them wearing matching t shirts. It took me out of the moment, everything felt too staged. Like, it's okay to do a proposal scene, but not even have Adachi kiss Kurosawa on the cheek? Something? Thank you for this insight.
