The Legends was filmed way back in 2018 before Xu Kai even had fans. He said this before he became popular. There were no fanwars or shipping at all at this time. You probably never seen the clip because he wasn't saying it to fans but to the crew. He literally acts the same with every actress.

It's because the drama is only on MangoTV, which is a much smaller platform and has fewer users compared to giant platforms like Tencent. But compared to other dramas aired on MangoTV, Royal Feast is doing very well for platform standards.

Actually, Xu Kai said in The Legends BTSÂ he didn't feel anything about the wedding scene with Bailu because she wasn't the person he loved. He pretty much clarified it himself.
