1. The king realized what PJW did but he was fool and only regretted it after Kim Sun died. King at that time was under impression that nobody ever loved him. That's why he never knew that Kim Shin was actually wanted to kill PJW with his sword. Well it is understandable if you can't get some points as in my opinion, the Goryeo story is underdeveloped. Too many plotholes.
2. She has been introduced in the story just as Eun Tak's companion. No behind story about her as far as I recalled.

It will be a rom com if you are focusing too much on the main couple relationship. Since most of their scenes are just to convince you the depth of their love. Your time will not be wasted if you found out how each of the character relate to each other. Ironically although the title is Goblin, I learned a lot about life and death messages from other characters i.e GR's tearoom guests, matured JET, deitys works and strong Sunny. For critical character development, I am more invested on how GR change from noble GR to breaking-rules GR to WY. His character is passive and submissive but he learned a lot until he realized the important of life which should become a very great message to us. Well, this is my interpretation. Other viewers may feel differently.

Sorry GY and KGE. Regardless of your great performance, although with an open mind, I am still unable to watch your loveline when ET is still a high schooler. Only managed to enjoy this show properly when ET starts being mature and enrolls her college.

And I don't understand why many viewers bawling at the end of Episode 13. It is expected thou? Surely, GB will make comeback in the later episodes lol.

Tbh, this show is about GB-GR/WY unresolved tension that has been delayed until 900+ years later. The plot is still predictable. Hoping new twist towards the end of the show.

When I re-watched Ep 1-12, there are many loopholes on connecting the past to the present time that are yet to be answered. Although the story line for the present time is adequate, the Goryeo time is poorly executed due too many insignificant? flashbacks. It is hard to connect. Hope that the special episode can provide more insights on Goryeo time.

I hope apart from the visuals, people will appreciate the message underneath the scripts. We may come from varied beliefs, but a lot of interesting life and death messages can be learnt from this show. For me, I find they are meaningful except for the love theories lol. Anyway, the Physics of Love poem is not bad either. :)

Although I am not really comfortable with ET and KS relationship (I ship LDW-ET friendship), I don't think it's overshadowed. Since the current focus is to reveal the past that lead to Goblin's existence itself, thus, more plot development on the side characters. At the end, KS-ET story will still be the main focus.

When most revelations happened in Ep 11 and 12, makes me wondered what actually happened in former episodes lol. Anyway, glad that I stay and keep watching this show although I almost quit because of the slow pacing plot at the earlier episodes (ep 4-9). I should thank LDW and KGE for keeping my interest on this show along the way. Now all characters are my favorites including that creepy PJW lol.

Don't worry, you have the right. Maybe you can reserve your mind with ep 10 and see how it goes later. I had keep my expectation low on the plot since ep 3 and fastforwarding most parts (ep 4 - 9) in order to watch the remaining episodes.

Phew. Finally Goblin is on par as pilot episodes with ep 10. This is what I meant by last comment on the plot development for the main leads as well as for other insight stories i.e. ET's aunt, ghost stories, goryeo scenes and grim-sunny relationship although DH-red lady relationship still kept in the dark. As long the plot is slowly developed, it is still better than being stagnant (ep 4-8).
Now waiting for the plot to reach climax or better, other plot twist considering the plot is still predictable for now.

This is my opinion. I am glad that this show maintains running for 1 hour since I had enough of 45 mins revolving on Goblin-ET relationship for every episode (ep 9 now). I need more side story on Sunny, ET's aunt, grim's job/team, shamsin grandma, DH&grandpa company or at least, ET's ghost friends. Since the story should be in fantasy genre, why not put extra plot in goblin's and grim's powers. As usual, only the last 10 mins in every episode will be the crucial/focus part of the show. Actually I don't mind Goblin-ET relationship story but since it is repetitive and draggy, it turns out a bit boring. So, whenever I want to re-watch the episode, I tend to skip their part. The re-watch value becomes low.

I really hope for the better plot execution for the remaining 7 episodes.

Same here. As much as I love the actors, the plot is not really moving although it already reaches middle of the show. Rating of 9.2 for this show is too overrated really. I am now watching the show for the sake of actors and cinematography only.

GR character is sure complex. Being a reaper, he is always rightful and dutiful. Coolly taking care the death souls to the after life. Meeting the goblin, he becomes friends and enemy. When in love with Sunny, he is literally innocent and stupidly in love. With Eun Tak, he becomes a reliable advisor. I wonder if GR will change his character once he regained his memory and learnt whom he was.

I feel you. I've started fast-forwarding since ep 4. Only looking forward to GR-Sunny parts especially in ep 7 to get some bits on Queen or King reincarnation for real character development. (thou the progress is still slow)

I can't understand with people who said that this drama does not bring out the adult love story which is supposedly to, Do they think the adult love story is all about romance? That is why most of the comments are all about the awkwardness of the kissing and sex scenes? ugh I can't. Maybe they are hoping so much from this drama. When it doesn't reach your expectation. The thing that make me cringed is the script. If the plot seems unrealistic, the good script should overcome it. Unfortunately is not. However since the character dynamics become better for my opinion, I have no choice but to seek for another episodes for this drama.
