Title Love to Hate You
So, it's 2023. This is the most positive time for people in the LGBTQIAAP+ community (so far) and there has been an amazing spike in acceptance and pride. However, we still have kdramas such as Love to Hate you, which is a good show but involves anti gay messages. It is treated like this massive stigma, this horrible problem and a scandal in the show and this really should no longer be the case in modern TV. I know Asian dramas are generally more Conservative, but come on- we have Thai GL movies like Yes or No and billions of BLs including Color Rush which is South Korean, and yet in romcom kdramas, there is still this massive anti gay theme. It's bothering me a lot and making it a bit difficult to enjoy the show as is. I really hope kdrama producers change soon
