The Lovesick soundtrack did it for me. The feels just all came back! T^T Missed those two a lot.

I just finished that too, actually. :P Mo Qing's character is so different from Gu Yan Zhen, though. Hehe. That I kinda missed seeing his smirks and animated expressions. I think Bai Lu's got the more interesting role in that one. :P But he rocks the blue hair, in fairness. Especially in demon mode. <3

No way! Hao Du sings?! First time seeing him in The Long Ballad and a couple of episodes in and I love him already. ^^ Now I really have to Google him. <3 I've only seen clips of Gong Jun singing the theme song and I'm super fine with it (haha) that I didn't attempt to find the original singer.

Postponed watching this after watching episode 1 (or a part of episode 1) but thankfully I tried watching again because I would have missed out big time! Haha. Great show overall. The cast and production were AMAZING. Very impressed with the set/costume design, VFX, soundtrack, casting and the acting. Top notch. No ad placements too, thank god. It's just in the story/plot where things get wonky. Heheheh. But I can forgive because all else was great. Plus I'm a sucker for these sorts of stories -- anything war or military related. And with romance to boot? I'm in! This actually reminds me of one of my favorite dramas called Gaksital (Bridal Mask). Story-wise, this isn't up to par but I enjoyed the ride nonetheless. Oh and I also appreciate the female lead cutting her hair really short for this drama. I've seen dramas before where the "girl pretending to be boy" actress just wears a wig and it's so awful and distracting. That isn't the case here so love that. Now I just have to find what other dramas the actor who played Gu Yanzhen appears in.. :P

Do try watching even just one episode to see for yourself if you'll like it. There aren't that many BL/bromance dramas out there so I always try watching any I could find and if I don't like it on first watch, then I stop. Hehe. I do watch AvenueX reviews and I agree with her most of the time too. But there are ones that I liked that, I later find out, she dropped too like Go Ahead and this one (if you say she did). Based on the rating here, it seems many liked this one as well. :)

Loved this one. <3 Time just flew by so fast while I was watching it that I couldn't believe I actually watched 48 episodes. O.O I just really enjoyed watching that I was never conscious about what episode I was in and how many more were there to go. I think that was a first for me, especially for a series this long. It's not perfect, though. There are plotholes and some production quality issues but since I enjoyed pretty much everything else, I could overlook. ? The fight scenes were well-made and the acting, too, was great. ?

Despite being obviously very low budget, I surprisingly enjoyed it! Haha. Even finished watching all episodes unlike other ones where I didn't even get past episode 1 (am looking at you, K-BLs haha). I guess I'm just a sucker for these type of stories? xD IMO the leads did a pretty good job and had great chemistry as well. <3 Just watch it for the entertainment value so you wouldn't be disappointed. xD

The story isn't anything new BUT the execution of the main storyline was well done and the two leads are the icing on the cake. They're one of the best BL couples I've seen -- definitely one of my favorites. ^^ March couldn't come soon enough!

Exactly! He resembled him so much in YNEH, right? I googled their names after watching to check if there were any hits but there weren't. ? But I knew my co-MDL users wouldn't miss it. ?

Right?! Had the same observation. I see XZ in him too at some angles. I think it's his eyes. That and they're both so adorable. ☺

Been almost a year now since the release date yet no streams and eng subs yet. :( Hope someone do lets us know if they're available. ^^ The trailer looked great and I'm very intrigued. Will put the manga-reading on hold until I get to watch this. :)
