the moment i was so done with this drama was when baek sa eon got out of the car in ep11, it was just so absurd that i can't get over it... and somehow the last episode was even worse!!
i've had this on my watchlist since it first aired and i haven't gotten around to watching it until now, i'm in episode 3 and i absolutely love this, the ost's?! so good!!
this is the drama i've rewatched the most, i've rewatched it at least once a year since i saw it the first time. there's some storylines i skip everytime,. anyway starting to rewatch it again :P
sorry but Sarang made it with votes so it’s kind of pointless to debate whether she deserved it or not. She…
so true. often times they already have a set of members in mind who they want in the group, and the survival show is used more so as advertisement for the group's debut, because clips will go viral and watchers gets attached to their faves by voting them to debut, and now the group already has a fanbase predebut. if it was truly just to have the best of the best compete for the chance to debut, some of the contestant would've never been a part of iland in the first place. they were needed so that there were people who could be eliminated and voted out. that's how survival shows mainly always work

exactly!! Mai really fits the image of what blacklabel and yg artists are known for, better than Fuko does (i'd say the same thing about Sarang, but it's not really relevant since she got in with votes). we also saw a lot of different styles from Mai that we didn't really saw from Fuko. when creating a kpop group it's not just about the skills or the talent, the overall image of the group is very important too
random thoughts. Fuko didn’t get picked for being “old” and they plan to keep the group for 7 years. and…
Mai is only like two months younger than Fuko, so I don't think that's the reason she didn't get picked. When it was the last final three, these were the thoughts me an my sister had: Mai really fits the "aesthetic" of blacklabel, and her personality and the way she acts is very important to have within a group, also her skills are stable, she will definitely be able to get better. Saebi would be the fan attractor, meaning when she performs she can really get people to focus on her, which can bring in a lot of fans, she can sing, dance and perform, she doesn't fully lack anything. Fuko's skills are at the point where she would be ready to debut. This is what we thought. In my opinion the producers went with the members who stood out more.
