I do too. I love JJY's acting in this drama. A strong performance, very heart-felt, and very convincing. I also actually love her outfits. Good visual-after all, as she said in the interview, this is an idol drama, the clothing are not meant to be realistic (even ZYC said his clothing wasnt realistic). It's almost like her signature. You can always expect good visuals, and her vampire make-up (which I personally think suits her) from all her dramas, with the only exception so far being Please Give Me A Pair of Wings. I also like that she is fussy and particular about her appearance. It shows that she cares about the quality of the visuals that she gives out. I prefer that to someone who just turns up sloppily to the set or who just couldnt be bothered.

I am a bit disappointed that JJY didnt sing any of the songs, but I do love all the songs in the soundtrack. Very emotive. I listen to them everyday since the start of the drama.....

Keep going, it will get better, that's what I found anyway. I was glad I stayed on till the end. But be prepared to have your emotions swing from being happy to being sad, like a pendulum....

I'm not disappointed. It was a good ending as this was the best recourse given the storyline, but I wouldnt say it was a happy ending, rather a bittersweet one. I cried the whole day after watching the last 6 episodes. It is just heart-breaking that he doesnt know who she is, what she meant to him and what they meant to each other. . But him at that point in time is a different Xu Xiao Dong. He didnt lose his father, he didnt have to go through the trauma of having to clear his father's name, or of needing her to heal, or being an underground Winter, he wont have met his old auntie fairy who gave him encouragement not to give up in life. He wont remember that he took care of her when she was at her most vulnerable, or how desperately he was in love with her, that they needed each other, there wont be any QR codes on the top of that roof. So, I am 'grieving' for their loss. She knew going in what she gave up to give him a 'normal' life when she changed the events with his father in the past. So, when he said 'have we met' I cried along with her. It wont matter if they start a 'new' romance. It's not the same Xu Xiao Dong...

Hi SP-427 thanks for your thoughts on this. As you said it's a decision made by the production crew. So, if people arent happy about it, maybe they could make comments about that. This is no excuse or justification to personally attack JJY. For myself, I didnt find it affected my enjoyment of the drama (and I have watched TBARP including the modern version). I am new to c-dramas but I am finding there seems to be a lot of hate being spread around for what appears to be trivial reasons to me. I am beginning to regret ever joining MDL. I thought that MDL will be a good platform to discuss dramas, like what some people here are looking for. But, if justified hate is the order of the day, then I will pass.

It seems to me that a lot of the negative comments against JJY, especially her being beautiful and what she wears etc reeks of jealousy. I have no issues with her outfit in this drama. She wore a hoodie in the first few episodes as she was wearing Xiao Dong's clothes, and she wore a uniform in the cafe. So, I think the clothes that JJY wears is appropriate for her scenes. Also, the SML's current girlfriend wears expensive looking clothes at home too, but no mention is made of this at all!! If all of you haters dont like JJY, why do you bother watching her dramas, what more as soon as it gets aired? Now that is illogical!!! If I didnt like an actor/actress, I wont watch their drama, no matter who else is in it, because I know I wont enjoy it. I am not going to waste my time, no matter how quickly I flick through the drama. It seems to me you just love hating and bashing her, just because you enjoy doing that. If so, please form your own group elsewhere. It would be nice to have comments on dramas that reflect the drama itself, rather than someone hating on someone else.
