Everything that even indicates BL is technically banned, from the social discourse. So it only make sens , that everything pop-culture related is also out, even if it's only vague. I'm more puzzled, that after years, of journeys, with BL's titles, people are still suprised. It's not the titles per se also, but how they advert those, where, and the law. Because if i understand the chinese news correctly, iqiyi did it again - didn't confirmed the realase date , it must be approved beforhand and have a green light. They had it also with non-gay titles , so.... + those shouldn't be promoted on socials, and the official account did so, because we have even now, very lowkey airing titles with LGBTQ+ themes, and they are fine.

This "temporary" might take forever, or never air at all at the end. We have shows which re-aired sometimes year later, and those, which still ended up with only for example 4 eps airing, and then taken down, and never back, after 2 and more years. So imo it's only fair, which was also practice with other titles in the past, to add them like that, so at least you are able to mark it as completed for now, if you watched even those 4-5 eps, rather than having it on the list, hanging there forever as airing or pretending it didn't aired at all, even if not fully. Alao they can't just air it as they please, China laws are very restrictive, it's even an miracle itself, that they air those, lowkey, not to mention popular streaming sites,. And if they were punished for that, they just can't drop it as they please. Some titles, were saved , by buying it by other country, but we will see.
