As for the rest, many times, the case is that titles are mix of few titles/ segments and so on, which can be watched separatly, like different stories. So separating them by pages, allow people to mark what they really watched/ which segment, and that's all, because system doesn;t give you an option to mark just few eps on the "main" title and mark it as completed. Also it better reflect stats, if you watched from title, having totally 60 eps only one story with 12 eps.; what's better - marking only that 12 eps and finished title, and maybe even left the "main"untouched, and not adding to your list or 60 from main, which be fake,;or making it as dropped after 12/6o, which is semi true, because you watched only the segment, you wanted to?
Without better option imo it make sens. Also one more thing - Baike/Douban rarely update those for few years , and they are making a mess because of it, so it's other way around.
And streaming sites, simple for convenience, put it under one title. But if you would check many titles, and sourcing other than douban/baike which is never consisted, you will see that many MDL titles are split as they originally are/were or because of "segment" style like for example https://kisskh.at/726807-our-times Just people doesn't understand, nor to care to dig more to sources imho. or doesn't understand MDL rules. I get thatfor some people it might be annoying. but imo it is some kind of middle ground, with the system, which site offers.
Btw. even Tencent added 铁血丹心 to the title https://v.qq.com/x/search/?q=金庸武侠世界 and added separated page for the eps which already aired https://v.qq.com/x/cover/mzc00200l7p8mq1/t4100s5m0v4.html, so what, the network where it airs is wrong then? now we have a little break, but it seems for other part or we will have separated links or name changes
You have eps in post below, and i explained to you in prev comment , nowhere. In a sense, none of those big platforms, and it aired already as a whole.
None of them most likely. This is short drama, most likely around 80-100 eps around 2 min each ep. Maybe some of those bigger platforms will later upload it as they do with those very low budget dramas, but probably it will be uploaded to douyin or some sneaky site + actors profiles on weibo and that's all.
