it's hard to tell how much is too much ^^" but yeah, we have some, but not so long, and first movie was from 1997, when gore had a little other vibe, and now it even looks little cringy, because of the outdated special effects . Still, i think it's more into thriller/ psychological title, than gore. So no worries, if you don't like those, i think we have 2 or 3, not so long scenes?
Well, for me it was so so adaptation? Dunno why, i like more original movie. I'm not sure if the overall story, is overdated, or maybe it was done poorly? Or it was just sentiment issue. Acting was so so ( i liked the most Goto and Asako), but overall imo it was too long and simple boring.
Very flat romance and drama overall. And tbh, i was more rotting for the second couple, and was more invested in Jeon Mi Suk story, than the main couple. Also the whole plot with the brother was so dumb :/ simple, waste of time, and i skipped half of it.

Why?They are not blood related in anyway. Hae Ran is step mom of Jae Min/ no blood relations,and birth mom to Seon Hwa. And she canalways divorce Dae Guk anyway :P
