Title Shining Like You Spoiler
I have to say, I feel disappointed about the drama. First, I have the impression that not much has happened overall. Secondly - even for 24 episodes, it seems to me to be forcefully elongated. Third - I completely felt no chemistry between any pair, even potential ones. And fourthly - I have the impression that at some point, I was scrolling more while watching. Shame. The ending is also very disappointing and of course, there was still a timeskip, I don't know why.

At first i was pissed, that Aiko wasn't punished more, and she back to her old stuff and doings. But then i catched myself, that's more realistic ending than ever? The person, who cared more, from the very start, was for sure Noboru. And like in life, many times, those people, just will suffer more. I think he was somehow beliving, that at the end, he will be able to fix somehow his relationship with Aiko. The most devastating part, was, that he discovered, that he was just a pawn, she didn't cared, from the very beginning, to the very end of their marriage. She wasn't even sorry, for the few sec, and tried to manipulate her husband until the last second.

And unfortunately, such people often live on, and their victims are left with a terrible wound. The only winner in this story is Kozue, is it? And it was also sad too see, how Noboru, just said, that he will not belive in happines anymore. But still, big props, for the story and ending. Because i think it's more realistic that way. Bitter, sad, but still, more possible. Because, unfortunately, very often manipulators like Aiko still do their job, even when caught a thousand times. The only thing I missed was the knowledge whether Aiko is mentally disturbed or so calculating and she just chose this lifestyle? The disease would not justify her, I just ran out of a little more information about her motivation. And I would like to know if it is a typical female praying mantis, or if there was something more behind it.

I'M DYING....it's so funny 😂 I mean - first of all, big props for the wife. I really like her, and wish her much luck. She kicked out from her life this parasite and i hope, he will not back to her. Second - Aiko. I'm screaming 😂 And the second mistress - i just can't with him. At this rate, this guy will get half of the city pregnant and never pay out with alimony 😂 I mean i know Aiko lied, still...the audacity to test him like that. I don't know, who does who more dirty. And the gaslighting here is real.

Also i wanna know if Aiko's father know what's up, but i'm happy he didn't helped her. And the ending - why i have a feeling that Aiko did that on some sick purpose? She invated him to her house, she for sure knew, that Noboru will found out. So...does she want to be kicked, and somehow back to Kazumasa? Ugh.

I think at this point, Kozue is more determined to kick her husband, and i'm like "Go Girl!", you deserve better. I'm little worried about Noboru tho. He seems to be conflicted, and he still falls for his wife's sweet faces. But i must say that whole thing with work, was a nice power move :D

I mean, for sure it will put to the test Aiko x Kazumasa tandem. We see very clearly, that Aiko started looking for her "new prey". And tbh, i'm not sorry that Kazumasa did her dirty., and throw her under the bus. I just really hope, that Kozue will seek for some theraphy and more help, to deal with his wife. Ok, she told him, she doesn't want him anymore, but the whole thing with cash etc...he must do something, to stop this clownery, because she still doing what she wants.
And I'm scared that she will eventually file for divorce, make a victim of herself and get some alimony from him. Or ruin him in some other way, which she's already doing..

I also wonder who Aiko really is - manipulative witch? she has some kind of narcissistic personality? a psychopath? or is she just calculated and she discovered early in her life, how that double-faced mask of hers is helping her in life?

You already watched it? What do you think? Did you agree with the outcome?
@Cho Na I think the context here was more metaphorical. Originally, Hamlet had access to his father's murderer, but he had a dilemma all the time whether in his revenge he could go as far as to retaliate and literally kill this man and avenge his relative.

So i think here it's like - you have opportunity to take revenge on someone/yourself, but will you take it? and how far? You live with your Nemezis in on roof. And i think it fits both women, in relation to the main guy. They both taking control, and can crush him, for what he have done to them. But is it worth it? Also Hamlet has strong.... let's say he rationalizes himself and scolds himself why he can't do that. Such internal conflict that he has every right to do so, but is the game worth it?

That how i see that motive here.

@Cho Na

Yosh. I think it's some kind of retaliation. The copy discovers she is a copy. Also she somehow was trying to let him know, that "she knows" she is a "fake". And she was giving him the time and the chance to tell her the truth. Yet every time, even knowing what was going on, You Ze pretends not to understand. So she decide, to give him what he wants.

You lying, you pretending i'm someone else, to the point, he's trying somehow "force" her to become someone else. So the copy gave him what he wanted. She didn't want to be only a "face", "dummy", some kind of a"imposter". Also i believe she was unsure if he's so kind to her later, just because of her face and delusion, or real feelings. He made her that way, so he need pay the price. You wanted same face, but with softer heart? Bye :P

And about affair and overall relation between real one and HYZ - i think from the beginning it was more opportunistic on her part and obsessive on his. I suspect, however, that over time it was him who began to fall in love, but she still saw him as a chance to jump up the social ladder.

However, when the real Luo Qian Yi discovers that she is no longer , have such a big control over her fiance she experiences a "crisis". Or it's behavior like "The Dog in the Manger".She thought she was the one who was dealing the cards, and here comes the surprise. She probably also thought that when she came back, she would be even begged by her fiancé to get along somehow. And to her surprise, her "copy" grabbed his heart, not even with her appearance, but with her character. And I think it hurt her.

@Cho Na yeah i think so too. Also, it's just my opinion, but i think, some turning point was, when he realized how...hmmm...I do not want to say that the "real" fiancée was some kind of evil incarnate, but you could see how the man realized that he probably didn't notice or just put some blind eye, on the nasty nature of the original :P

Also, to be fair - in fact, both women were a bit "fake". The original pretends to be someone it is not in order to get to the top and probably even lied to herself, and the other tries to be a copy of it, but it turns out to be better than the original :P

So yeah, to some extend i agree with you.

@Cho Na Well the scene in hospital says much imo. I think, he knew from the very start. Especially when he heard her mumbling there, if i remember correctly about father etc. So he knew. He just was living in some kind of delusion, beliving that maybe something happend to her memory. But i think, he from a certain point, was just deceiving himself and wanted to soothe his remorse. So he wanted her, to be the REAL one. Like some kind projection?

Nope as far i know, it isn't adaptation of anything.
But yeah, ending is nice. Like i said, at this point i think it would be unfair to make it lovey-dovey, and just simple brush off, what happend. It was too deep, complex, and simple unfair to our "imposter", to just say "fine, ok, you lied to me, but i'm fine". She needed some breath of fresh air. Also our "real" one needed some healing. So yeah, mostly i don't like "open" endings, but this one, fits the story nicely.

Imo yes. Let's be honest. What Huo You Ze did, was..sick imo? Even if he had "good" intentions, still...he made just "copy" of his soon to be wife. And i'm not even sure how long, he would lie, if our "imposter" just didn;t dig to the case. So yeah, i'm happy they didn't end up together.

He must fix his problems, and somehow "deserve" her, after all he did. And about our "real" one - she was a victim and a preparator at the same time imo. She lost all, but maybe it's a chance for her? Also it was sick, that tbh, everybody uses everybody for some profit. And it would be just weird, if we have some romantic happy ending, with the "copy" in such a circumstances.
