This is genuinely one of the best BLs GMM has ever made.
Now, that is with the caveat that you have to be capable of enjoying pure campy fun. Are the special effects particularly corny? Absolutely. Does it detract from the overall story? I'd argue it doesn't.
Joss and Gawin's chemistry is also just supurb. In fact, I'd argue this is the best chemistry Gawin has had with any of his partners. They really succeeded in that classic, yearning, punch-to-the-gut romance kind of way.
My only complaint is I think not having a side, toxic romance between Mond and Neo was a mistake. Numerous times I thought they'd go there, but alas. It not having that doesn't take away from it either.
It's a really fun time, that doesn't fail to sit in it's serious moments
