I think we’re being a littttttle generous with this BL. It’s not changing anybody’s life, it’s not nearly as complex as Love In The Big City, and the characters aren’t that entertaining… That being said, it’s very charming and I would probably give it somewhere between a 7.5 or maybe even an 8 overall. It surely had so much potential though.
This one was... Different? I did not expect that one. Like, there were some undertones and technical age gaps…
THAT BEING SAID WHAT A MASTERPIECE! How the heck do people create such beautiful stories in their head? I was admittedly thinking of writing a story about a person who could talk to dead people, but since, I have decided to invoke a nec-romance like this. Because as odd, morally, some things felt, that did not take away from the beauty of the storytelling and the cute and tender moments in the slightest. The saddest thing is that people probably assume that Ohm is insane and completely lunatic. Also, did anyone notice that the Monk look directly at Singto when they went to the pagoda?
This is top tier BL. I do not jest when I say do not skip this or come in with any expectations, because Manner of Death will defy you. One of my rare 10 out of 10s. All who dare, give this show a go. It will not let you down in any category.
Why have no reviews addressed the crossovers? TharnType and FuseTee? Were they no good? (Or do most people not recognize them?) REALLY CURIOUS! I love shows that allude to other shows. Like the characters from HIStory 3 playing Thai tourist in a Jap drama.
I adorn this show. As the unknown president of all the countries and the solar system, I have decided to elect this show as the web drama of the whole century. There will be no more shows after this. You are welcome.
hii, did you start to watch the show? i feel the same as you, it does not feel like a bl series since people say…
I believe this show is... AMAZING!
Oh, Tufan. I have no qualms currently. Though without using the word "gay", there are some overt moments that I can attest satisfy the inner starving that accompanies that of the BL enthusiast. However being only 9 episodes in, I can legitimately feel so many of the reasons people love this show. Character quality, the level of loyalty is insane, and there's something even more romantic in the fact that they aren't flatout gay, but you will hear one of the main characters profess he has no interests in marrying a woman, then running off with a man in the next scene.
Greater than the power of the Chinese censors, this love story is powerful. I also found out, I actually already watched the first episode of the anime (donghua) a few months ago but never finished, so it has made me so EXCITED to finish the show so that I can watch more.
